Angeno's Pizza

We are here as a family after a hockey tournament. Very friendly staff and our order was served quickly. Pizza here is fantastic...highly recommend the thin crust special. Some of our group ordered lasagna and fettuccine alfredo, which was equally fantastic. Pastas were served with salad and garlic bread...say yes to the cheese on the garlic bread. We will certainly be back here again!

So the only Eating establishments I review are the ones I deem worthy enough for my time to review. If it’s not on my review it’s because I haven’t eaten there yet or they didn’t meet my criteria. That said. This establishment is one of my favorites for years- in the past I loved the buffet. From Pizza to salad & pasta. from chicken to cookies & other goodies . Sadly that is no longer part of the offer. But this place has an excellent Angenos “special” pizza it is a bucket list pizza and consistently good every time I’ve ordered it. I have had it twice this past month and both were identical-tasty and very generous with the toppings. The price is not an inexpensive pizza but I do not believe I could make the pizza for that price-and a frozen pizza from the grocery store does not compare. So get ready to enjoy a pizza. Don’t fret over your pocketbook because it will be worth it!

I love Angeno’s pizza, and have been a customer for several years. To me they have the best pizza in town. The last couple of times the delivery service has been less than acceptable. I let the first one slide, but the next time was even worse. It was supposed to be 40 minutes to arrive, and took over an hour and a half. I opened the box and checked for temperature and sure enough, it was little better than room temperature. I called the store to complain and say that I didn’t want to pay for the pizza. The owner, John, got on the phone and apologized to me, and really sounded sincere. It was a busy night, and I by chance got their slowest driver. He said to make up for hit I would get a gift card in the mail. Sure enough, within a few days, the gift card arrived. So I’m very happy. In the business world you can’t always account for the human element in events…things do happen. But I appreciate an owner stepping to the plate and making it right. So thanks John, we are ordering again tonight. Never change your recipe, it is the best!
