Famous Dave's Bar-b-que

Don't order online and just go there for curbside pickup. I guess you are supposed to call when you get there because no one is watching for the make and model and color of the vehicle information you put on the order. Don't complain about waiting for 10 minutes after the food is done because they will just walk away from you and tell you to have a nice day.

Build your own sandwich: grilled chicken, add lettuce, jalapeños, red onion, spicy hell-fire pickles. For the side, I will take chili The above was my order...what I got was grilled chicken with lettuce, jalapeños, pickles AND CHEESE, BACON, and NO Onions! Cheese was an option I didn’t choose, bacon was not an option that I saw and I really missed the red onion!

Horrible! I understand it was a holiday evening, but having to wait over 2 hours for a simple order that was placed 30 minutes before I arrived. Some (very few) of the staff was running around. While a girl with black hair was casually wandering in the expo line, singing and dancing around... REALLY?!?!? Help them for God sakes. In the end after many attempts to see where the food was. I was told, it will just be about 15 more minutes. I said “I am done, cancel it”. I ended up having to get Arby’s... very frustrating! I also saw and heard multiple people saying the same thing and walking out. One guy placed his order the day before and they couldn’t find it. So they raced his and gave it to him and another women free?!?!? What about the rest of us? Our business doesn’t matter?!?!? I will not be back here for a while. And word of mouth advertising can be your worst enemy or best friend... it’s free for those that give it!

Sat outside on the patio. Plenty of shade! Waitress was really nice and attentive. She offered suggestions without being pushy. We all got the lunch options with a few extra sides. Their cornbread muffins are the best! St. Louis style ribs had a lot of meat on them and the steamed broccoli was delicious!The smaller portions were perfect! Restaurant and patio were clean. Hostess was nice. We will visit this location again.

So my family and I ordered the famous feast platter (you know with the ribs, brisket, cornbread, bake beans, coleslaw, chicken etc) anyway I was very surprised 😮 because as we all know famous dave’s are known for there ribs. But at this location the ribs meat 🍖 were very Dry and hard!( I felt like I was chewing on wood) It was so bad we had to throw it away. Never again will we be going back to this restaurant.
