Manville Pizza Restaurant

Parking can be tricky here, go to the bank and park in the back parking lot. The customer service was excellent here. The man behind the counter had no problem talking Pizza and what he had to offer. Value was low considering it cost $3.75 for a Margherita Slice without a ton of Mozzarella for that price point. The Sauce was the star of the show and was excellent. The crust was thick and was burnt. This is an area for improvement for sure, but I did get a slice off the rack and not a full pie. I would give them a 3.50 overall rating and would go back. It is above average.

Manville pizza is located along the Main Street in Manville with some street parking and a lot around back. There are two entrances for the customer's convenience. The restaurant itself was clean and there were plenty of decorations across the walls to give the restaurant a pleasant, neighborhood feeling. The staff was helpful and there was a tremendous selection of specialty slices behind the class at the counter. I decided to go with my usual plain slice and one of my preferred specialty slices, the chicken-bacon-ranch. The plain slice was pretty average with a crispy base and crust, and a good cheese-to-sauce ratio. Side story: I may be misremembering, but I believe the bowling alley that once existed behind where the pizzeria is now used to source their slices from this establishment and I always remembered that pizza being the greatest, most delicious in the area. Unfortunately, this is not the plain slice that I had remembered so fondly. Perhaps I need to order a fresh pie and cut all of the slices in half to experience the joy I felt as a kid at a bowling alley birthday party. /end story/ The chicken bacon ranch slice wasn't bad. The bacon was crispy and the ranch dressing was conservatively applied, which led to a good balance of flavors. I would have liked the chicken to be more flavorful, but overall, not a bad slice.

Manville Pizza has been part of my life since I was born! I remember the Rustic Mall shop and still frequent the new(er) Main Street location. The only tricky thing is parking, but ordering, picking up, everything is great. They have excellent Pizza, and their meals and appetizers are also great. They’ve recently added desserts which I can’t leave without - the cheesecake is my favorite.

A "platter" of food is not three small pieces of chicken in a small container for $22 off of an online ordering app. I called and the guy was unapologetic. Never going back. Platter is defined in the dictionary as a "large plate filled with food" and it seems intentionally misleading to use that word for 3 small pieces of chicken rather than "plate" or "bowl" or something more accurate. It is simply a lie to call it a "platter" (and charge a platter price) and you can't blame the customers for expecting us all to be using the same english language words.
