The Grub Hut

Solid BBQ. Wife always gets the brisket sandwich which has a generous serving of meat. I got the pictured special which was very good. Sprouts and sweet potatoes were great but I wanted more of them! We have always liked the food and had a good experience. Great service. One good addition would be a tangy or spicy BBQ sauce option. Food was excellent but I’m a big sauce guy- so clearly a personal preference thing. They had four other options but wasn’t ecstatic about any of them. Also restaurant is BYOB :)

My Oh oh my. My opinion, one of the best tex mex restaurants in Middlesex County if not NJ. I heard good things coming in and I wasn't disappointed upon arrival. The service, to the food, to the efficiency. My family and I arrived late but was treated kindly and were not rushed in eating or ordering. Th sassafras chicken was phenomenonal as well as the sweet potatoe fries. The all you can eat taco took my wife's eyes as she attempted to eat as much as she could with the generous portions served. All in all, we were satisfied and gives this experience two thumbs up. Way to run an establishment!

I don't remember if I've had the ribs here before or not. But I just had the rib sampler and they were amazing. Moist, tender, and fall off the bone with great smoke flavor. Can't wait get some more soon. The burrito we had was also good but the packaging for tackout didn't work out great. But that is common with any takeout. I've had it when I done in and it's great.

We just had a graduation party catered by Grub Hut. We were VERY pleased with all the menu items served. Some of our guests, including the guest of honor, had SERIOUS gluten and dairy allergies. Everybody ate safely and deliciously. Thank you so much !!!! We would definitely recommend Grub Hut catering. 😋

When we called we explained that we had a family of people to feed and the person on the phone explained their so called large meals to us this is $50 and is supposed to be “very large” portions were extremely disappointed with the portions size $3.99 for a side and their sides come in this small cups that my 3 year old child can eat by himself they gave us literally 5 small plantains for $3.99 there are so many very short fries here I don’t understand how this equates to $50 we ordered the Pitt head which is $50 they made a mistake and gave us the Pitt master upon returning the order they slapped two small slabs of brisket and pulled pork so a slab of pulled pork and brisket equates to $20 because there’s no difference in the portion sizes of the 2 apparently extremely disappointing
