Garden Deli & Pizzeria

I love their pizza, but it always takes an hour to get it. They told me tonight it would be ready in 45 minutes, so I waited 45 minutes before I came out to get it, then they told me they had to recook it because they burnt the first one. So annoyed. Great pizza but very bad service every time. She brought it out right after review. I'm ok now.

Decided to try this establishment on a whim on vacation, it was near us, we got in late and I didn't feel like driving anywhere, so we took a chance... I'm glad we did! Not only was the ordering process easy, but the gentleman who took our order couldn't have been more pleasant (especially considering my questions and requests for our half n half pizza) they quoted us 45 minutes for delivery, but arrived in 30 minutes. This pizza was served hot, fresh and delicious! You can tell they care about their customers, the ingredients were fresh, and best of all the pizza wasn't greasy and the crust was crisp! We'd definitely visit them again if we are in the area!

I’m giving them 5 stars because they actually answered the phone and the pizza was pretty decent. Saturdays during the summer are apparently insane. So we called almost everywhere and no one was answering or taking orders. These guys were. So thank you! The pizza was ok. It’s really about 3/4 star pizza. Nothing to go crazy about but pretty good. If you follow one bite… they have it at a 6.8 but I think that’s being nice. I would however go back and try a specialty pizza to make sure I’m not being to harsh. It’s takeout only and you will need to wait outside.

I appreciate quality pizza. That means the dough has been carefully crafted, the topping ingredients are fresh, and the sauce is complimentary for the pizza style. A nice cheese goes without saying. This is why I highly recommend Garden Deli and Pizza. A staple in Manteo. It is in the top 3 of the best pizza shops in the Outer Banks, hands down.
