Chez Shari

Note: this was for a private meal. The service was perfect, sometimes buzzing around like bees in a busy flutter. Food was a lot better than the standard mass feeding grade D gruel, although you get what you pay for (~$40/, but, as mentioned, it is better than the standard catering). Good bar, not watered down drinks.

Beautiful well-maintained Golf course lined with mature trees, water-hazzard ponds and wildlife. I was there to attend a Company District meeting. The conference room was basic but, provided everything needed for overhead presentations, wi-fi, and quality acoustics. They provided a buffet style sandwich and salad bar with an abundant selection of assorted fresh sandwich rolls and breads, meats, cheeses, lettuce, sliced tomatoes, onions, condiments, anti-pastas, and salad fixings.

I had read the many, many reviews of how awesome, kind, friendly, helpful, knowledgeable-about-everything John at Chez Shari was. Even with all the accolades, I was still surprised at the wonderful and amazing man John, who efficiently guided and handheld my daughter and me through wedding and guest planning, getting a great DJ, and even a wedding officiant. Whoddathunk that the kind, funny, humble gent, John, in addition to knowing everything, was also literally able to do everything. Yep, he is the officiant and DJ, as well as 100% pro wedding director. How we lucked up on such a gem, I do not know. We are thankful, though, as is our young bride. Thank you, John!

We held our 25th wedding anniversary celebration here for 120 people. The event was great! The food was excellent and ALL the guests commented on how wonderful everything tasted ( we chose the chicken and tri-tip deluxe buffet option). The chicken was moist, not greasy and seasoned just right. The tri-tip was cooked perfectly and was also moist and very tasty. It was served along with a savory au jus and horseradish if desired. The salad was fresh and crisp and the dressing was excellent. The green beans were cooked perfectly and not over cooked and mushy. The staff are unbelievably great to work with here. They are very accommodating, efficient, nice, professional and just stellar in every way. Thank you so much for playing a significant part in making our day special and in helping us provide a quality feast and celebration for our family and friends to enjoy. I highly recommend this facility. Excellent value for the price.
