Great place and decent food, worth a visit if you're in the area. Edit - 26.10.23 went again and the food was superbly cooked, dare say improved from already great quality to my previous visit.

Just had the Hunter's Chicken with chips. The chips were nice but the chicken made me feel a bit queasy.

Popped in for a couple of drinks during the week. Quite a popular pub as it seemed on the day, a few were having a drink, some having a bite to eat. Seemed to be an after work thing, plus many tables reserved for dinner. The pub has a good layout, semi separated into sections, slightly more orientated for food than drink. But it's very in the vane of a opened out traditional style of pub, which has been the flavour fo most pubs for some time. All in all recommended, prices are in the mid range, so enjoy!

Fantastic environment to eat and drink. Landlady is very welcoming. Great quiz nights. Staff go above and beyond to please. A well managed friendly pub. Don’t expect the Ritz because you’re not paying for the ritz. Expect down to earth get what you pay for.
