Rocky's Pub & Grill

My date and I dined in at the bar years ago. The interior is in deterioration and it is dark, very dark. The owner never left us alone, talking nonstop. It was a relief when the he left us alone to eat, but it was a long time after our food arrived. I was disappointed because it had nice comments by others, I'm thinking they go there to drink, maybe a lunch spot with a buffet? The FOOD was very good! Sadly, I won't go back, even with out-of-town guests, because I will always find Oysters Rockefeller somewhere else - and get to eat them still hot from the kitchen! The appearance of dark, dirty, unkempt coupled with the very high prices are why I'm not going back. Factor in the nonstop talking, interfering with a date....Nope!

I absolutely loved this restaurant! It’s a good date night location. The atmosphere really encompasses the heart of Mansfield. Our food and server were amazing. We thought the portions would be small, but even had to take a box home due to how much food we received. We will definitely be making this our date night tradition.

From the outside it does not look like much, but once your inside it gives off the feeling if being inside a 1920's speak easy. It is really dark in there, which was no problem at all for us it help set the mood! The food was delicious. 5 stars alone for the food. Absolutely one of the best dinners I've had in a long time. But the scene of the restaurant is what pulled us into falling in love with it. A very private, quiet, dark romantic place to have a lovely meal. It's a great place to go if celebrating an anniversary.

Wow, just wow. You hands-down CANNOT beat the ambience of this hidden gem in Mansfield, Ohio. It's timeless glow combined with delicious , gourmet dishes and killer service makes this high-end dining joint the crown jewel in Mansfield's dining scene. The atmosphere was delightfully dim and stunningly classy. I had the mushroom pasta and African peanut soup. Both dishes were seasoned to perfection, and contained exquisite, high quality ingredients. My mother, who was joining me for dinner, had the tempura shrimp and the spinach salad. She was equally as in-love with her meal as I was with mine. Our waitress, a heartwarming blonde lady whose name escapes me, provided us with an extensive knowledge of the menu and service that, in my experience, was unrivaled. Our waters were never close to empty and she continually provided top-notch service with a smile throughout the meal. On our way out the door, the owner, Ricky, gave us a heartfelt "thank you" for our patronage, and we were on our way. I've never experienced a combination of such wonderful service, atmosphere, and food quality in all of my culinary adventures. 5 stars, no questions asked.

The service was exemplary! Our server was helpful, well-informed, courteous, thorough, prompt, kind, and attentive. I ordered the mushroom pasta, and I loved it so much that I am recommending it to everyone. So, SO good! That heavy cream sauce? RiDONKulously tasty. My husband and I have found a new date night go-to.
