Perkins Restaurant & Bakery

I’m only giving them 3 stars because the waitresses did an excellent job. However I ordered a Benedict with avocados just to get rotten avocados NOTE:I only took a bit of avocado and return the plate when I noticed all the avocados were like this I would show more pics if I could. The lady was nice to refund it But completely killed my appetite. Then to notice exiting the restaurant they have chemical spray not one but 3 at the food prepping table there was only water and ketchup condiment from what I saw but if those chemicals get in the water I pray for you.

Friendly but mediocre slow service. They were not short staffed. Food good. Staff was a bit casual. The manager or hostess looked like they were home on a lazy Sunday afternoon not working a shift at a place of business. I understand wanting to be comfortable, but one can look professional & not cozy.

Our server was excellent--friendly, attentive, and quick. Our food was pretty good. We were seated in a booth by the windows with our infant granddaughter sleeping in her car seat. We were shocked by the obnoxious behavior of the woman who appeared to be the manager behind the front desk. She talked loudly and with many expletives, shouting at people walking in who seemed to also work there? But the shouting never stopped, and at times she was on the phone with what had to be a personal call. She seemed oblivious of her own volume and lack of respect for others. When we were ready to pay the bill, she looked at us in disgust, waving one hand toward the card reader, saying, "you can do it yourself" in a gruff tone. She was extremely unprofessional and rude.

first time customer here and never experienced something like today. the kitchen staff were YELLING AND CURSING fighting with each other the whole restaurant could hear it. turned a lot of heads for sure. 😳 poor front staff looked so embarrassed— so selfish of the pair doing their team dirty like that. 3 stars for food tho lol

Hostess’s and waiters are always courteous and helpful. Food is HOT unlike the fast food restaurants lately. Pickup orders in Mankato are ready in about 10 minutes usually. Ordering off the Web can be a real pain though. Put in your password and you might get. Member not found! Then you must continue as a guest! Very hard to change personal information. Like credit card charges. The salad you get at a reduced price. When you order side salad with a meal. Is not offered on the Web
