We always Stop by TJ when we’re passing through. We’ve never been disappointed with our Lunch or Dinner. (The Ruben “Germania Sandwich “ they call it is pulled corn beef like its suppose to be not deli slices ) * and the bread options are gluten friendly if so chosen If you like follow me and my travels on instagram at mylifemyterms55

Very good food a step above normal tavern fare. Garlic shrimp was very good. Meatball was excellent. Ruben was good and marble bread was a nice touch. House made chips added to the sandwich. Only complaint is that the place was loaded with flies. Had to keep waving them away from the food. Maybe that time of the year for them.

The meal my boyfriend and I shared here last night was one of the best meals I've had in a restaurant. The service was really quick for how busy it was, and the kitchen crew had the food coming out quick with awesome presentation as always. Definitely worth the 20 minute wait for a table. We really splurged on food and drinks this visit, generally it's about $20 to $25 per person. Pictured: Cider Boys Peach, a toasted Chocolate Martini, Lemon Garlic Shrimp, Duck Wontons, Pot Roast Bowl, and Peppermint Cheesecake.

This is my second time at TJ’s. The second time was almost better than the first time. The atmosphere was exactly the same being pleasant and comfortable. The staff was friendly and pleasant to deal with. They were very attentive. The gyro was very good and filling. The ingredients were fresh and the bread was soft. The only thing lacking was a bit more sauce. The chips were crunchy and flavorful. The stout was tasty as well. Great way to start the meal and went well with the food. The molten cake was fabulous. Just enough cake with the molten center to fill your mouth with chocolate flavor. The side drizzles were extremely delicious and complimented the cake well. Definitely try it. I would definitely come again, if I’m ever in the area.

Found this place on the www and arrived with low expectations- I mean, what pub doesn't serve burgers or fish & chips!? My buddy and I got the club sandwich and it was outrageously good- seriously, perfecto! I don't have the vocabulary to do it justice, just try one for yourself you won't be disappointed.. the vibes and servers were awesome, too! I'll definitely come back.

Great local restaurant. The menu is dialed in and delicious. Atmosphere is great; classy and homey. The staff are excellent and the kitchen fast. Typically I take pictures of the food but I was there on business so seemed awkward... so I'll just have to come back.

Stopped in for a quick bite after walking the riverfront and some nearby historic homes. Place was small inside & busy, landed a high top table right away. Service was great, quick and efficient. Ordered the braised pork Philly cheese steak and shared with hubby. It was delicious. Found out happy hour apps were half price at 5, so we ordered the shrimp in garlic and pork tamales. Both were outstanding! OMG those shrimp were cooked perfectly, in garlic and butter/wine sauce served with a baguette to dip in and soak it all up. The pork tamales had a nice kick to them and were very tasty. Our waitress was super, kept checking on us, even tho she was busy. The place is obviously a favorite with locals as well as tourists. It's located in the "social district" so you can grab a drink and walk the streets in certain areas. Cute downtown area!

We made this a destination and it did not disappoint. We only had an appetizer and a beverage. We will be back for a dinner. The fire was going and the atmosphere warm and welcoming. The staff did a great job as busy as it was for Sunday morning. The duck wontons were melt in my mouth delicious. I am glad I tried them.

Super cozy, great food and awesome drinks. Our server was fantastic as well! We came from Detroit, tried both TJs and bluefish in the town. If you are in between, cant go wrong with TJs

Checked into the Ramsdell Inn on the upper floors and after a 9 hour drive stumbled upon this place. Unbeknownst to us, it was our lucky night as Thursday is 1/2 priced appetizers until 8pm. The app menu was so varied we ordered 4 of them with completely different flavors. The service was great! Come early as there was people waiting for tables shortly after we arrived at 5pm. Sorry for the half empty plate pictures, it was so good I forgot!

Great food at a reasonable price. Excellent service. I got the Lake Sider sandwich. Highly recommend. My DH got the Greek Chicken sandwich which was also very delicious. Not from the area but would make a point of stopping here again in the future.

We were downtown Manistee and found this great little pub. For starters, it’s in a fantastically cool building. You can dine outside or step down into the pub. It’s small, cozy, busy and still has a welcoming efficient air. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. We ordered the bruschetta for starters and it was quite good. Our food didn’t disappoint either! Reasonable prices in todays world.

Looked empty so I was a little worried. Walked in and it was packed. Pesto chicken dish was good. Iced tea was good. Lots on the menu that looked interesting . Cool old time setting. Nice area.

Food was good. Had a Rubin sandwich. A fresh catch fish dinner would have been awesome.

Stopped for first time on way through Manistee and were very pleased with the food and friendly staff. Good selection of craft beer and cocktails; bourbon peach ice tea was great, the margarita was not, tasted like a sugary mix. The Mac and cheese is delicious and very cheesy, the meatballs were very great and the bread it was served with tasted very fresh, bbq chicken wrap and chips were delicious, I had the Asian chicken bowl which was good as well although not the best of what we had; it had good flavor but I just didn’t like the taste of the chicken. We look forward to going back, its a cool little place with a nice, cozy atmosphere!

Got the meatballs on one trip. Very good and filling. The bread was great! On another trip, got an Oowey Goowey Veggie no tomato. Very good and true to its name. My spouse got a cubano. He loves them. Said it was very good. The chips that come with the sandwiches are great.

Such an amazing place to eat and have cocktails, staff is attentive, the best they can being so busy. The food is always phenomenal. The crafted cocktails are unique and flavorful, a requirement if you stop here. The baked cheese and the bread dish are always just spot on, this is a must try for the Manistee area. Nestled in the basement of the ramsdell inn, the location is dim lit and romantic while still providing a great atmosphere, unfortunately with that came a slight mildew or damp smell, however it does not take away from the almost flawless dining experience! Good job TJ's. Keep it up.
