Mary's Cheers Bar

Because of a huge backup on the turnpike (route 76) I happen to stumble across this gem I mainly needed a bathroom but just the short time I was here they were as decent as could be. They didn't require me to buy anything just to use the bathroom like other places do. I mean I get it, they aren't a rest stop but I wouldn't have gone here if it wasn't for the multiple miles of backup (due to construction and flooding). The bathroom was spotless, the establishment was clean too. The bar looked inviting 😏 The other customers were friendly and helpful. I was told about the different roads in the area etc. They definitely were nice enough to make me want to join them. I really couldn't because I was meeting a few people for dinner and I was already late. I hope to try this place again and do a better detailed review. Only big issue I saw was that huge p̶̶i̶̶t̶ pothole in the parking lot. Don't let it swallow your tire. 😎

Went by on a Sunday afternoon, didn't look like they had customers, just two cars in lot. Thought that might not be a good sign considering the area was hopping because of the Renaissance Faire. Checked out reviews and thought Monday night we'd give it a try. Walked in the door and we were welcomed by the waitress/bartender as if we were old friends. "Pick anyplace you'd like to sit" she said. Service was prompt, beer was super cold. We split a plate of nachos and believe me that was a tasty meal for two! Prices were reasonable. Dining area was very clean. If I had to say something negative about the place it would be that there are no low chairs and tables. For those of us with bad knees/legs, it's painful to sit on a bar stool for any length of time with leg hanging or bent back to the foot rest. The dining area only has bar height tables and chairs. If we were more comfortable, we would definitely have stayed longer.

Circumstances can play a big role for opinion about a place. Personal opinion, this place was just what I had in mind. After a long day at Hershey park with the kids right before getting on the turnpike I wanted a cozy place with cold beer and decent wings. Mary' delivered !! Don't judge a book by its cover. Small, cozy, welcoming bartender. We went in with a 2 year old and did not feel out of place at all. Almost no crowd, no obnoxious guests. Just a very cozy setting with good people, food and beer. If you forgot to or didn't find a place to eat at a fancy high priced hershey restaurant, don't hesitate to stop here before hitting the turnpike. It's definitely worth a try

We were in town for a basketball tournament,stopped here for dinner. What won us over was how welcomed they made us feel, from the staff taking a break at the door that stopped us to just to small talk and as soon as we walked in the waitress Lisa ( I believe her name was) made us feel right at home. To top it off the food was amazing. If we are ever in town again we definitely will make our way back!! 10 out of 10 recommend!!

Mary's has the best food of any pub in the area. Just got back from dinner at Mary's and I am totally in love with this place. Food is delicious, comes hot to the table with a smiling face of the server. Friendly service from a staff that always treats you like family. I'll be a loyal customer for years to come. 10 stars out of five!!!!

If you love wings then look no further. Mary's wings are hands down the best wings I've ever had outside of Buffalo. I've also had fries, burgers, nachos etc. Never a bad meal and service has always been great. Great food, great beer and great service. Oh and if you live locally or are staying local and don't want to eat in, give them a call and you can place an order for carryout!
