Ordered online ahead and spent ~$80 bucks on dinner. Asked to sit at one of the many many empty tables on the patio... Told that its against policy. Something about the artistic vision of the head chef. Totally fine but maybe have a one time warning policy as to not end up treating your guests like trash.

Food was carefully packaged, and included condiment instruction guide to help you enjoy your meal in its entirety. Fish looked and taste fresh. The rice was not for me, but the meal was satisfying. Thank-you for the meal

Really enjoyed the sushi. Quick, friendly , accomodating staff. Unfortunately it did not sit well with my stomach and i ended getting sick on my way home from the restaurant. Mustve just been a bad batch or something, this wont stop me from returning again.

We were in Manhattan beach for the day and wanted to try the food as it was recommended to us by a good friend. It was during covid lockdown so the dining room was closed. I ordered online which was easy and our foot was on time. We took our food down to the beach and dropped a flashlight into tha bag our food came in and it made a great lantern for our beach picnic. It was a little pricey but well worth it as this was some of the best sushi I have ever had. I was not okay with the $25 fee I guess it was for covid??? Just added to the bill. Other than the extra fee it was a a great experience. We will try it again once the lockdown is over.

COVID UPDATE: bring a mask.
Getting the “Nozawa — Trust Me” option was basically $50 per person. So this spot is pricey if you want the good stuff. But — trust me — it’s worth it. Service was excellent and the food was melt-in-your-mouth-ruin-other-sushi good.
Street parking can be a pain but the meters in Manhattan Beach take plastic. We went here for lunch and we were seated immediately. 10/10 will return after a 20 mile bike ride again.

Food is amazing. I’m happy they are open. However the service, management and attitudes are not welcoming. You are just a number. Just a paycheck, just another Joe. No compassion, no empathy. Tried to charge $2.00 for a a mask. I asked if it can be charged on the bill. The manager said “since your wait is 45 minutes we don’t trust that you’ll come back and pay” this comment insinuates that I would break my integrity for $2.00. We are in Huntington Beach. I wonder what the theft rate is in this area. .25%? Then after the amount was agreed, another .54 appears on the bill. No mention was made of this prior. These sort of cheap actions are clearly magnified towards higher ticket items. Again. Love the food. I don’t think the staff quality equals the food quality.

Always incredible. Only drawback is the wait time for orders. We put in an order just as they opened and still waited an hour before picking up. Highly recommend the "Don't Think. Just Eat. Trust Me." and the combo cut rolls. Ate in the car. :)
