Their slogan is "locally world famous" and after frequenting this location I couldn't come up with a better way to describe them. It is a 24hr Beach-house diner with excellent food and surprisingly lower prices than one might expect in Manhattan Beach. The food comes fast and the staff is polite and personable. Everything moves very quickly and efficiently

I loved the food here. The buffalo cauliflower was flipping incredible. I’ve never tasted anything so yummy! Kale salad was super fresh and I loved the carbonara! This was a recommended stop from a friend—well worth it!

The kettle has been a staple in my family since the 80’s. My mom was raised in LA and then passed this tradition on to me and my brother who once lived in Mexico and came to live in the South Bay. It’s become such a familiar restaurant for me. Despite my families tradition, I have LOVED every item on their menu. I’ve introduced this restaurant to all my friends and extended family. I know nowhere else like it. The kettle will always have a special place in my heart 💜!

The staff was very courteous and professional. I had ordered their California fries and was impressed with the taste. Slightly unfortunate that they weren't seasoned but it's a drop sized gripe compared to the lake of tasty meals offered. Mimosas were great too!

First restaurant after lockdown eased up, still the same awesome Kettle I've known since I was a child... now with a lot more personal space and masks missing from those childhood memories. Broccoli Cheese soup Thursdays (FAlways the French onion any other day) and a absurdly large heaping of my favorite Cobb Salad in the area. Can't go wrong here, order with impunity,

Horrible service, with okay food at best. I came into The Kettle this afternoon to get lunch with a close friend, and left unsatisfied and disappointed with the customer service and lack of care from the staff. My friend and I ordered at the front counter, and were told that our food would be brought out to us. After over 30 minutes of waiting, my friend went inside to find out our food had been sitting on the counter for at least 15 minutes. At this point, my burger and fries were ice cold and almost completely inedible. The melted cheese on my fries had hardened into an unholy block that I couldn't even break apart. After reading all the good reviews for this establishment, I am extremely disappointed that we were treated as if we didn't exist.

It was nice to eat someplace other than home. Service was good and so was the food.
