Waffle House

Food always consistent, prices reasonable. They turned on the radio while we dined and it was blasting. I asked if they could turn it down because we couldn't hear ourselves talk and the waitress said they couldn't because it was only one setting. It was quite when we walked in then 15 minutes later the radio was blasting, Is This Love. Otherwise, a decent experience. This was at the Causeway location in Mandeville.

Sat at the counter, was like watching a house fire, the woman on the grill had no business there under any circumstances. She burned our eggs 3 times, we never got the eggs and they charged us for his meal! The tension between the staff was palpable, customers were walking out and still the zombie at the grill was just watching food burn. This is not an exaggerated review, I have never seen such a case of incompetence and we have been patronizing this location at least 2x a month for the last 4 years! Corporate needs to come in and clean house over there as something is very wrong. The best part was when the wait staff tried to fix their orders, the guy who apparently was in charge, if thats what you call it, told them to stand back and let the zombie do it! Horrible experience, at the xpense of their customers. As of 7/22/17, if you see a short woman at the grill, RUN the other way.

Don't waste ur time or energy to order from this place !!!! Nothing but young kids hang out the staff looks high and dirty . The inside is not clean when I walk in the cook was mopping. I Ordered my food and coworkers food and still didn't complete the order correctly the cook look like a teenager skate boy who can't handle more than 2 order 🤔✌🏾👎🤔

You can almost never go wrong when eating at any Waffle House, except when it's the middle of the Mardi Gras parade/celebrations and Super Bowl weekend in New Orleans. We decided to stop in the Waffle House for a bite to eat before driving back across the 24 mile long bridge to New Orleans. Our waitress got off to a shaky start, which was understandable when we learned that she was new and only been working a couple weeks. However, our waffles were wet from the water on the plates, the coffee was cold (except for decaf coffee that was only ordered after realizing that regular was ice cold), the bacon and sausage was so greasy that it took 4 napkins to soak it up, really, we used 4 napkins to soak the grease off each order of bacon and sausage, the syrup bottle was so nasty that we asked for honey instead, and to top it off, there was hair in one of the waffle orders. In the meantime, one of us was left sitting without silverware throughout this whole fiasco until their food got cold. When we notified our waitress of our dilemma, she immediately went to her manager, who indicated that she would take care of it and give us something of the bill, but what she really meant, was that she would clear her register for the cold food that was ordered and not eaten because it went cold through no fault of ours, and nothing else! Unfortunate for the waitress that she forgot the silverware, because she really was trying... With the preparation of the horrible food, cold coffee, and nasty syrup bottles, we are giving this Waffle House location a less than desirable rating... *Poor Food *Poor Service *Poor Management
