Usual Suspects Food & Spirits

This place is horrible. There's a blonde headed woman that may or may not be someone in charge. She is very demeaning to customers that aren't sure what they want because they've never been there before. She is extremely rude. It also seems like they don't change their grease or something bc everything smelled and tested like very old grease. I WOULD NOT recommend this place.

It had been well over a year sense i have been here. My first visit was really good. Quick & good big chicken. Today i went well out of my way to stop here and enjoy a great meal. Unfortunately that did not happen. 25 minute wait while i watched the cook get watched by the other staff doing nothing. While he cooked & packaged the food. I am guessing with him rushing the chicken was not cooked as it should have been and the batter fell off all of the chicken as i tryied to eat it. Unfortunately i will not be going out of my way again.

A lot of things were suspect with my experience. The most glaring being that the chicken and fries not only smelt of burnt grease it tasted just like it smelled. Everyone knows that smell Also, was told 20-25 minutes and the food would be ready, it took a total of 45 minutes all said and done. No one has a sense of urgency, workers laugh when they are out of coleslaw.

Honestly, Canes is better. Originally, was looking for a Canes alternative (their quality has gone down, prices have gone up). Had high hopes for Usual Suspects, but was quite disappointed. 1) Chicken strips are wee little things, 2) fries are extra greasy, and 3) Texas Toast dry as heck. But to top it off, none of the orders came with coleslaw like stated on the menu. Just go get Canes.
