Garlic John's

Bread was good, salad was good I had the gorgonzola dressing. My son had a grilled chicken and French fry dish that was sub-par. The chicken was a bit too burnt for his liking. I had white clam sauce with garlic and linguini pasta. Not too many whole clams made it in the dish, but there was a decent amount of clams from the can. A bit sandy as well. Red sauce was ok. Nice food and service, just little bit pricy what I didn't realized, only after we have been seated and opened menu. I was happy with my choice of kale salad, it was yummy and filling. My friend had fettuccini alfredo, he had petite plate, but was also filling. They refilled up our glasses with water, I just wish they did the same with the bread. There is a choice of sitting inside with AC or outside with fresh air and nice music making atmosphere. We took other option.

What a pleasant surprise...we pulled up to the door around 4 pm on Saturday afternoon, hoping to get a last minute outside dining reservation. Valerie answered the door even though they were closed...she was so friendly and nice....once we arrived everything was perfect. The salmon dinner was expertly prepared. The eggplant entree was light and delicious...the salads were wonderful. Service and timing were exemplary. Valerie and John took care of us - they are so friendly and professional. We are excited about going back. This is the best meal we have ever had in Vermont and it is the most delicious meal we ever had. Barb & Steve from New Haven, CT

Food was amazing! Service was lackluster. Our waitress was new but completely forgot about us after we got our meals. Another waitress stopped to ask if we were okay because we sat there so long. I will try them again because the food was great, hopefully the waitress will be trained or gone next time.
