Really love the food from Lisa's. Never been disappointed and she stays open later than a lot of places.

Stopped by. Had a goat curry and plantain. Took some pasties home. The food was delicious and the service was very fast.
I work within restaurant industry for many years, and I do often find faults in food. But not in this place.
I am literary confused from where are all the negative reviews are coming.

i dont know why people give this a bad review, its delicious, its how jamaican/caribbean food should be, i'm thinking some people might not be familiar with this kind of food, i grew up eating jamaican food and i found no fault with this food,i will be ordering again.

I ordered Cornflake Pie, Chicken split and a beef patty.
The dumpling for the chicken split was very small and didn’t look anything like the sizes shown on the pics on the website. The chicken split was very tasty so I give them that.
The cornflake pie was very sweet, but it’s how it should be and just how I remember from school.
The beef patty was again just how I remember from years ago.

Goat curry is amazing. Slightly too many bones but tasted divine. If you want tasty then worth a bash. Try the pattys as a side - the saltfish was gone in minutes.

Up from London, passing through and saw Lisa's. Had to stop for some Caribbean food. What a lovely lady Lisa is and the food was delicious.I had curried goat and rice. Superb. Will be back for sure :)

The delivery was really, really late. Apparently the girl delivering couldn't find the house and went back to the shop rather then call. The food was good though and they weren't rude hence the 4 star and not the 1 star I was thinking of giving when my stomach was rumbling away.
