Mama's Shack

Mama's Shack have such a varied range of delicious food we had to return. Pleasantly surprised with the beef ribs, oh absolutely melt in the mouth with just the right spices, you can tell it's been slow cooked for hours. We chose mash & gravy as a side and I'm so pleased the gravy was not bland and the mash was creamy. We also had steak which was perfectly cooked, accompanied by a nicely dressed salad. The Seafood Stew was amazing, especially the sauce it is divine. Churros were freshly made and you must try the sauce it's served with. Love it as I've only ever seen it being served with cinnamon sugar or chocolate. We had the beef Benedict in the past, we had to try as there's a shortage of decent halal brunch places in Manchester. The chef came to our table which was a first for me. The staff here are so pleasant they treat you like family.

A little gem on the curry mile. We stubbled across mamas shack while searching for something different to eat. The food was amazing. I had the ribs and i mean chunky ribs. The meat just fell off the bone and the sauce just topped it off.. i had a great convo with the chef/owner and the waitress. These guys know what they are doing and if you're looking for something different cooked perfectly then this is the place. We ended the night with churros which were delicious.We will be back very soon.

Exceptional customer service, all the staff especially management were so welcoming and friendly. Such a lovely atmosphere they created! Looked like everyone enjoyed working there which was refreshing to see:) The food was just delicious and portion sizes were generous too☺️ me and my friends were well looked after during our visit. If you are down in Manchester and looking for some hearty food then this place is the one. Highly recommend Mamma’s shack!

Amazing food, drinks are delicious. Service is perfect. I have not had meat cooked as perfectly as they were here. And as well as being perfectly cooked, they were extremely flavoursome. Portion sizes are really good for the price, it's priced very well. Had a nice chat with the staff and owners who are all very friendly and welcoming. 5 stars from me!

Took my mum here for her birthday, the staff were absolutely lovely and you could tell they took pride in their work. The food was perfect and, unlike some places, had flavour! Before we left, as we were paying the bill, the staff put happy birthday on and the whole restaurant sang to my mum, she was so embarrassed bless her, but it was so thoughtful of them! Will 100% be going back!!
