An fabulous restaurant tucked away in the heart of Manchester. A great place to meet your friends, share traditional cheese fondue or a modern take on it with a vegan option also available. The service staff were friendly and very accommodating. The decor is a funky mix of rustic meets industrial. From metal water buckets/sinks to marble tables, gives it a charm all of its own.

Restaurant was quite small and seems to have a bit too many tables for the small space. Interior was rustic and feels like an old style mill/pub. We had the christmas gravy fondue which was basically your christmas dinner dipped in a pot of gravy. Everything was quite nice, definitely enough food for everyone, only downside was the meat, couldve came out sliced rather than us struggling to cut it and in big chunks. Chocolate dessert fondue was nice but if they had made the waffles a bit more bite size theb it wouldve been better.

Wow.. amazing food and great relaxing attentive from the team at Bock Bière ...I work as hospitality manager so very demanding when I go out.. . These guys deliver on every level.. our young lady server even took the time to wet our appetite for the 2020 dessert menu... we will be back

Great venue, lovely staff, it's almost like being transported to Bruges. The steak would've liked a tiny crack of rock salt, but I'm not rating it down because of that. Easily 5 stars.

A fantastic array of specialist beers, incredible (vegan!) food, and lovely service and decor. One of my favourite places in Manchester!

Had Sunday lunch there yesterday with my wife. Being used to a traditional sunday roast piled on a plate, with big yorkshire puddings ... when the platter was served with all the food on and a fondue pot full of gravy.. loved it! Will be bringing family next time they in Manchester, a different Sunday roast experience which also tastes great!

Fondue and Belgian beer. What's not to like!?! Got the classic fondue with steak and wurst for £22 for 2 people and also tried the bitterballen. My partner got a flight of beers, 3x 1/3 pint of on tap Belgian beers, which gives you a chance to sample 3 different ones. And they're very different to their bottled counterparts. Will definitely go back!

A hidden gem in the centre of Manchester. Some wonderful items on the menu - the Bitterballen are something very special. The beer battered fish was beautiful and their homemade chips were a hit with all of us. Beer selection is large and high quality too.

Loved this! Great food, Amazing Bockstar Martinis and service was friendly. Atmosphere chilled, only missed out on the 5th star as our table was wobbling all over the place and a little too high for the bench seat I was sat on, made it awkward to fondue!!!

If you love Belgian beers and food this is the place for you. The cheese fondue itself worth the travel: the portion is HUGE and the steak to dip in the cheese is cooked to perfection. A fondue is around £22 but you can easily share it between 2-3 people and you won't leave the place feeling hungry. I tried the onion soup and the carbonade ( slow cooked stew) as well in other occasions but the cheese fondue in my opinion is the best dish they have. Chips are really nice as well, I will personally recommend the spicy aioli dip to go with them.
