Pollo Campero

Food is great. I love the flavor of the seasoning in the breading. It’s better fried chicken than KFC or Popeyes. The service is decent. There is a disorganized waiting system for take-away orders and people are just standing around all over the restaurant. It is not an inviting scene. I personally wouldn’t want to eat there. I wish they had a drive through service.

pollo compero is a 10/10 it is SO YUMMYYY THE CHICKEN WAS ACTUALLY SO BOMB and i definitly put it on par with popeyes chicken sandwich, mayb even higher, also the horchata was BOMB 💣 AF and the yuka frist were SO TASTYY and i will definitly come back again 🐔 i am now an avid pollo compero enjoyer 🐓🍗❤️‍🔥

Delightfully delicious and juicy fried chicken! The chicken empanadas are tasty too! You have a little wait as the empanadas are cooked to order. If you decide to eat there they give you a number and you food is brought to your table by a friendly employee! Wish they would bring back their Tres Leches Cake...it was so good! Though the cake is not offered any longer you can still purchase Flan and cookies. They also carry plantains which they serve with cream. At lunch time the line is often out the door! If you haven't tasted this chicken yet you are in for a delightful surprise!

Good thing the food was good! The staff was newer but helpful. They had run out of ice at the soda machine, and my order wasn’t accurate after waiting, but at least the part of my meal I did get was tasty! Lots of flavor and different choices then your typical fast food. I recommend the fried chicken and even with the mixup, I’d still return to order again.

I’ve been here a few times when I am in the area and we absolutely love the food here. They are showing Guatemalan’s authentic food. Chicken is dynamite and well seasoned. Every single component of the plate is well cooked and it reminds me of Guatemala in a plate. Service is usually always lacking, long lines at times. That is never a surprise or shocker.
