Shakin Crab

When you are seated, they bring you popcorn to munch on while you are deciding what to order. They give you bibs and gloves to eat with. My family loves it. They said the food is really good. I don't eat seafood, so I get chicken tenders. I wish there was more on the menu for the ones that don't eat seafood, at least one more option, (only reason for 4 stars and not 5) but I was happy with the chicken tenders lol. Hush puppies are delicious. The service was good. Kids were asking to go back even before we left!

This is such a fun place to go for dinner! We took our kids for our seafood loving toddler, and it was a big hit. My husband definitely had to shell all of the shrimp for both of my young children, so he may have had less fun (hazard of bringing children, the shelling of seafood is part of the experience). I love a dinner that doubles as an experience, and this fit the bill. It was customizable, delicious, and so much fun.

From the charismatic Sharpie graffiti adorning every single inch of the wood paneled restaurant, to the honestly friendly and fun service, along with the literal shaking of hot seafood inside a plastic food bag full of seasonings, it was an awesome experience all around. Everything was flavorful and reasonably priced. We will be back!.

Been here twice, did take away both times. Staff is friendly and food was hot and ready one time. Both times I ordered the Seafood Platter (2 clusters snow crab, 0.5 lb sausage, 1 lb each shrimp, mussels, and crawfish, 4 each corn and potatoes) and it was enough to feed three people. I selected the Shakin Crab seasoning and selected mild. Spiciness level was low enough that people that don't like spicy food could enjoy it. Everything was delicious and cooked to perfection.
