Review Massimo's Ristorante - Malden

Eileen Maguire
The bread was delicious...the tiramisu was great....and for me, it ends there. The salad was all lettuce, 2 cherry tomatoes, three skinny rings of red onion and LOTS of salad dressing. I had the chicken and eggplant combo -- the sauce (gravy) was bland, the chicken tasted funny and eggplant really has no taste. Sorry that I didn't enjoy my birthday dinner as much as I thought I would! I was disappointed since this is the only Italian restaurant in Malden!

I've been a regular customer for over a year. Thier Chicken Parm is as good as it gets. I've tried many North End resturants for WAY more money and liked Massimo's more. The vibe is casual townie italian, which I like because it is relaxed, friendly and comfortable, but don't let that fool you. This chef makes *GREAT* food.

I'm very sad to report that Massimo's has closed its doors for good. Thank you for many wonderful meals, Massimo. You will be fondly remembered and dearly missed.
