Review The Breakfast Club - Malden

The food was okay. My smokered burger was good but a bit bland. Think it is served that way so different customers can adjust it whatever they want so I added a few pinches of salt. My friend ordered a benedict. Was good but the boiled eggs were a bit overcooked so there was little egg yolk coming out when cut. The staffs were friendly and catering but we were put in a pretty long wait guess because of the new management. However the open kitchen's cook was not comfortable of her being photographed so I have no photos of that. We were cool with it anyway. That was impressive to witness the cooking process so I really suggest to sit near the bar. The condiments were sufficient and ready. One thing to note, on the menu it was citrus chamomile tea but the lady came out with chamomile tea bag kind, not with citrus so be mindful with that.

I loved my visit!! ❤️ 💙 💜 💖 💗 It was my first time visiting, but the atmosphere and vibe was so homey, the service was so amazing that it felt like I've been visiting for quite some time as we easily had conversations with everyone on the staff We had just left our staycation at Encore and had decent amount of luggage with us, they allowed us to put our luggage aside in a out of order bathroom to not get in the way, we were worried we would not be able to dine there with our luggage. It was absolutely an amazing experience The portions were quite big and the food was delicious 😋 I will definitely visit again next time I am in the area

No thrills Americana - focus is more on charm than finesse - but pulls it off for sure. While there are good options for brunch this was a solid option for breakfast. I paid a touch above $20 with tip for my breakfast. It was a cozy welcoming bar top meal. I had my coffee black but their lattes and hot chocolates were definitely popular and visually appealing. The bathroom was unfinished but that should be fine in the months to come. Overall a nice neighborhood place.

The plates were hefty, delicious, and the service was great. Emily thank you for going above and beyond with your welcoming and pleasant service. We were very appreciative to have you as our server.

The cinnamon roll waffle: was delicious and crispy. The fruit it came with was fresh and the whipped cream as just sweet enough. Really good! The Atlantic Benedict eggs: it was OK. It came a little cool and the egg yolk wasn’t running like you would expect for Benedict eggs. The sauce was really good thought. I wasn’t a fan of the house potatoes–they were a little chewy. Will probably be back to try more menu items!

In Malden off main Street you will find a cozy little spot that makes you feel right at home . Staff is friendly the food is great and the prices is right . What more could you ask for . Sit down with family and friends and enjoy this nice little spot . Staff makes you feel at home and that's what you want when not looking for a chain style eatery . If your looking for a change of pace then look no further

My favorite local spot for breakfast. Friendly staff, great food, endless coffee, more than fair price. The only caveat is that their home fries are really fried scalloped potatoes. I love them, personally, but it can throw you for a loop if you aren't expecting it

We had it for take out and it was the BEST bacon egg and cheese sandwich in a muffin I EVER had ! Tasty and overall very well done ! The home fries were alright (personally not a huge home fries fan to begin with). ALSO ordered dessert which was the cinnamon waffle with cream and berries (strawberry) and that was OUT of this world ! Super highly recommend, can’t wait to visit in person ! Also went for dine in and to show more pictures !still amazing place to go super highly recommended!!

Loved the breakfast here at the BC. They had a added value with the singing waitress with the beautiful voice. She is a songbird that added to all the delicious items on the menu. There is some thing for everyone and the fresh squeezed orange juice was the best! Service was all that and a happy meal!

The Breakfast Club in on Main St in Malden, MA has the Best customer service and great dinning experience compared to any breakfast place in we’ve tried in Malden. The entire staff are so friendly and helpful and all meals served with a smile :) something we need more of in this world. The food was absolutely delicious and came out fast. The Inside has a cozy atmosphere and is super clean and very spacious with a big bar and stools like the old fashioned diner’s used to have and they have plenty of comfortable booth seating as well. Their hours are Monday thru Friday 6:00AM to 2:00PM Saturday & Sunday 7:00AM to 2:00PM My new favorite Breakfast Club is a crowd pleaser in every way

Here are a lot of iconic American style breakfast and brunch for everyone! The home-made fries is pretty good. The size of meal is truly huge. I was very full until evening.

It's a cute little place. The food was great. The sweetness was perfect and not overwhelming. You get vegetarian options here. The princess waffle and avocado toast were great. The banana oatmeal pancake was good too. We were impressed with their coffee. The other items were really good.

This place has all the throwback vibes for a classic diner place. Fantastic breakfast options and wonderful coffee to boot. The staff are super polite and make sure that you are always attended to. I had the waffle with banana-strawberry-blueberry which came out delicious and I also got their latte which was refreshing on a windy day out. The advantage of having breakfast here and not at some fancy place on Newbury street is that you save a lot of money. I’d definitely recommend a visit here if you are around.

Fantastic food! Very friendly staff. Happy to answer allergy questions. We came here twice on our trip. We will definitely be back when we visit again.

Used to come here when it was a 50's themed joint. The new ownership have given it a more modern look, but the great food and service have remained the same. If you go here on weekends around brunch time, good luck getting a seat and be prepared to wait.

On a Sunday it was predictable busy but for good damn reason! I forgot the chicken sausage omelet had goat cheese until I bit into it and was treated with that creamy goodness. Great hostess behind the counter, fun and engaging even as busy as they were. Thank you to the whole staff for providing a wonderful brunch experience when I’m on the road at work and missing home.

This place is an institution. Food is amazing and if you arrive past 9am on a Sunday, be prepared to wait in the line on the street. Food was really delicious. The TBC burger was excessively mouthwatering. Together with the 80s music playing in the background, this is definitely not a place to miss. Memories are created here. There are very few places that serve a great breakfast and this is one of them. Unless you have no other choice, don't sit by the booth by the end of the counter as you'll be squished into a seat that has very little space between you and the table.

I moved to Boston 1.5 years ago from Vermont and I have been looking for a diner exactly like this! We recently moved from Brookline to Brighton and I bike past The Breakfast Club every morning. There always seems to be a line out the door and around the building. Just from seeing the lines, I had to try it. This morning I had the best breakfast I have had in many years. The French toast was spot on along with the rest of my meal. The staff was certainly busy, but we were not neglected. She came to refill drinks, and was around just enough. Some staff members at other restaurants can either be over bearing or not present enough, and I didn't find that here. Just a perfect experience and I will certainly be back. I loved the atmosphere and the food!

I had the most terrible experience here yesterday morning which saddened me because I've been coming to this restaurant since I was a child and I could always remember the service and the owner as outstanding. I received my food in a decent time but 10 minutes after I received my food my waitress came over and handed me my check & walked away. She then proceeded to come to my table every 3 minutes and ask "anything else?" & "would you like to wrap this up?" I was being rushed and it wasn't even busy inside. I looked at my bill and was told after the fact that there was no such thing as "substitutions" and I was charged $10 extra dollars. I asked to speak to the owner and was asked "well why?" Not "let me get him for you" or "he isn't in right now" but "well why?". I am so dissapointed because this was once my favorite place! The only good thing I can say that came out of it was the breakfast which was AMAZING! Despite the service, the food is always great and certainly worth the eat!!

I’m in town briefly for the WNBF World Championships and needed a place to have a clean breakfast. The breakfast club has the option of building your own omelette. The egg white omelette was great and the waitress was very courteous making the experience well worth the price!

Years ago when The Breakfast Club first opened, they were a cheap neighborhood breakfast place along the lines of Allston institutions like Grecian Yearning or Steve's Kitchen: basically edible, frankly kinda gross, but adequate if you didn't feel like going out to someplace actually good. But over the years, they upped their game as they expanded, improving their ingredients and ditching things like the straight-out-the-can corned beef for homemade. Now, the food is expertly prepared (if you order your eggs over easy, they will be neither under- nor overdone), fresh, and better than you'd expect from a still-pretty-inexpensive place in Lower Allston. Try the omelets. I do wish they had something like a cinnamon roll or a Danish on the menu. Sometimes you do want just a bit of something sweet for breakfast. The '80s theme of the soundtrack and decor amuses me just because I think it's funny that my teenage years are now a nostalgic era.

Every person in my family just said this was the best breakfast they’ve ever had!! Everything was fresh, really good and the portions were huge!!! We loved the decor with all the old school 80’s items!! All 5 of us are super impressed!! The staff was also super helpful and sweet!!! 5 stars!!

5 Stars for the amazing server. 2 Stars for the plain/blah food. Loved the 80’s vibes, music, & decor as well!

Old school dinner with an energetic vibe (thanks to the 80’s classic music). Food is amazing and the service is great! Might have to wait for a table, but we’ll worth it!
Susan Gentile-Monfette
Best Breakfast diner around. The food is fresh, hot and made just the way you like it. The waist staff is very accommodating to your needs and even go the extra mile to make sure you are comfortable and happy. My daughter was having a tough day and our server added some colorful sprinkles kn to of the whip cream of her hot chocolate, just because he thought she needed it! Brought a smile to her face for sure. The service is quick and everyone works like s team, so even if you see a line it's worth the wait and it will be faster than you think. And it's not breakfast if you don't serve scalli toast with the eggs, the best!!!

No matter how long it's been since the last time I went the food is always perfect. If you're looking for a great diner breakfast you've come to the right place :D

Not only is the food great tasting like mama used to make it, the music playing in the background is the best.

Overpriced for a worn out diner with poor service, mediocre food, up charges for everything including cooking your food properly...maybe there's a discount if you eat it raw

Went here frequently when I lived in Brighton during college, and still make a point to come back with family or friends whenever I'm back in the area visiting. The service is great, the food is excellent, and the atmosphere is nostalgic and fun!
