So good and unexpected. We ordered a veggie plate and cauliflower shawarma. The cauliflower was grilled to perfection. Hummus was fresh and pita was warm. Kids also gave two thumbs up which means “good!”

My partner and I were visiting the area and needed a place to eat/relax while we waited for a bus. So we decided on this place because we've been on a Mediterranean kick recently. Out of all the Mediterranean places we have been to thus far, this has been my favorite. The portions are generous and everything on the plate is fresh and full of flavor. We were also able to relax at the restaurant for a couple of hours and enjoyed the atmosphere/nicely shaded areas. I actually had to put on a sweater—outside!

Makawao holds its weight in uniqueness and this restaurant is no exception. Right on the main road going through makawao, Habibi does it right with its exceptional range of middle eastern quisine that clenches the palate nicely. We got the vegetarian platter with the spicy fries. Everything was great! Highly recommended.

Delicious change of pace when in Maui! We hiked in the Makawao Forest Reserve and came here after. Everything was flavorful and filling. The hummus was amazing.

One of the best little eateries on Maui... beautiful fresh salads and some exotic flavoursome middle eastern food all in a chilled setting with friendly staff and great service. I always go there a few times on every visit to Maui. Highly recommended.

My wife and I had an amazing meal here. Everything was prepared fresh and the garden setting was very relaxing. We checked multiple places in the area for a celiac safe gluten free meal and this was the winner. They were knowledgeable and cared about our dining experience. If we ever find ourselves in the area again, we will definitely be going. The fries alone are worth a trip to Maui!

The Zaatar & Al Souq plate are incredible. Try out the latter to get a wide sampling of tastes. I’ve eaten at middle eastern and Lebanese places since the dawn of time, in the very countries that invented the stuff to Europe and all over NA..

A pleasant surprise. We were cycling down from the crater and stopped in town for lunch. Came across this place and I had Fish Shawarma. It was delicious. Also a very pleasant atmosphere and nice staff.

Delicious home cooked food. Everything tasted amazing and is made from scratch. The clearly love what they do. Friendly happy owners. Happy to support them. Must try if you’re hungry in the area!

Very delicious food and very friendly stuff is working here.
It is located at the main street at the historic town of Makawao and it looks like it is the only place in Makawao you can sit outside in a beautiful garden setting.
