This place is a Gem 💎 this was my first visit to Maui, Makawao, and Polli's. I'm a Mexican American from Sacramento, CA and wasn't sure I would find a good Mexican restaurant to dine at while visiting and when I found Polli's I felt like I was back home. From the mouth watering lemonade, to the flour tortillas chips and salsa, Flautas, shredded beef tacos 🌮 and friendly staff, the comida (food) was absolutely delicioso 😋 I will be back!!!
Polli’s is a really cute and quant local Mexican place. They’ve got great drink options and a nice well rounded menu. I would recommend the Mango Margarita with Li Hing Mui power on the rim!!
This place was amazing! Small little restaurant with amazing service and food/drinks! We had fish tacos YUM, the homemade chips and salsa, were amazing, loved the Queso, margs were good! And if you want the sweetest server ever, ask for Kiana :)
This taco enchilada plate I had has everything I wanted to try on a plate. Even though one portion is generous, I had to finish the plate since it’s "súper delicioso". 😂❤️
Always a good place for Happy Hour margaritas and my favorite, the fish tacos.

We came here on a rainy day because of a local recommendation and we were not disappointed. Everything was fresh. Service was friendly and helpful. Good stop in a beautiful town!
We got lost in the mountains trying to find the Lavender Farm, but it was a good thing we did. The town was quaint and artsy and this restaurant had excellent food. Our server wasn't the best but the food and atmosphere more than made up for it👍
We spent the day in Hana and doing hikes, so admittedly we were hungry. However, the staff went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of, and the food was fantastic.
We all had the taco plates, and everything (the chicken, beef, and pork) we're all good. The vegetables in the salsa were definitely fresh, and even the queso was really flavorful.
If we were back on this side of the island, I would definitely come back. Either way, I highly recommend the place and commend the management and staff for making sure we enjoyed the meal.
Fish tacos were excellent. Friendly and attentive staff. Some of the locals at the bar were loud and obnoxious at times, though friendly enough when we interacted with them. Worth the stop.
Rating based on hoping for a local, friendly, good food, friendly service watering hole. Nothing fancy, but exactly what we wanted. Bar area was full of local characters, service was good, food was amazing. No beer on tap was a disappointment, but the top shelf Margherita at $12 was excellent. The nachos were also exceptional - almost too much toppings and $16!
This a wonderful small Mexican restaurant in Makawao Maui. Great service, happy people and so much Aloha. Had the Ono burrito was awesome and so filling. Highly recommended.
Danielle was our server and she was fantastic, friendly and attentive of my girlfriends celiac intolerance. Ive been coming here off and on since 1995 and its always an enjoyable experience. Great prices and big portions!
Ambiance you can't replicate anywhere else in the world. There's a magic about authentic local culture that Polli's exudes every day. Besides that, the food is amazing. The best fish tacos anywhere on the island or off.

Nice place to hang out with family and friends while enjoying some drinks and appetizers.
Highly recommend the Martini's as well as the steak tip/fries/mushroom plate and chips/dip.
