I heard a lot of good things about this place so I decided to see what everybody was talking about. I had the fried chicken breast sandwich with spicy mayo and fried pickles called the Sunday special and it was exactly that! Special! Chicken breast was nice and juicy and fried to perfection. The spicy mayo was a pleasant surprise. I also ordered the wings. First of all the size of their wings puts other "wing" spots to shame. I had the jerk seasoned & bbq flavor. The jerk wings were nice if your looking for some spice. My favorite was the bbq flavor. I definitely will be returning.
It's so hard to find a good wing place around here that delivers. So we tried The Blue Hen, ordered 50 boneless wings, 8 different flavors and they were absolutely incredible. The wings are huge and there wasn't a flavor that made us hate it. Took a little over an hour but what do you expect when you get that much food. I can die happy right now, thanks guys, definitely coming back....not right now...too full.
Wow!!!! Really, just wow!! What a menu! I can't wait to come back and have the mac-n-cheese waffles!!!

We had lunch at the Blue Hen and everything was amazing... fried chicken, burger, salad, chicken fingers... everyone was happy and left full! We can’t wait to go back again!
Great food! The wings are absolutely awesome! Plenty of sauces and dry rubs to choose from. I shall return on a weekly basis!
The staff is really nice which you will see right from the entrance. The place is cozy and the food is just delicious.....Going back again!
These wings give me life. We were skeptical about ordering here because of how much we loved Planet Wings and absolutely hated Mahopac Wings, but we decided to give it a go. These were by far the most angelic boneless wings that have ever graced my tastebuds. The flavors are incredible, freshly made and they're literally massive. Definitely will be ordering from them again.
Absolutely love the boneless wings and the many choices in sauce !! The cilantro lime rice is always a favourite as well as biscuits (please bring them back!!!) I love this restaurant !! So yummy !!

Let me start with the staff. The front ladies are very friendly. Prices are reasonable. Since I found this place 3 days ago I ordered twice. I had the chicken fajita wrap 🤤 and the shrimp and arugula, but with chicken. ( I don't eat seafood). my boyfriend had a sandwich with avocado on it and the taco salad. Everything was so good!! You can't go wrong in this place must try!
Great local place with great food at a fair price. I have taken out from here many, many times and have never been disappointed. Food is always fresh and hot. The inside is clean and well staffed. With other chicken places in the neighborhood this one is my favorite.
The wings are good. The hot is about a mild medium feel. The salads are very good. We've had the walnut pear with arugula salad and the roasted veggie salad. They both came with a refreshing white balsamic dressing.
Stopped by the Hen after seeing reviews and having a cravin for fried chicken... Grabbed a box as it was a slappin deal and cane w/boneless wings so I was about it. Everything came out rather quick which was good and the order wasn't sitting around under a heat lamp... The fries were fresh and the seasoning good. Now the chicken wings were more like massive chicken chunks which the pic does not do justice. The fry on them was good and the breading had good flavor. My only knock was that everything was crazy salty and I mean crazzzzzy salty!
Other than that I would be about ordering there again if I happen by n hopefully my BP is back down by then.
Great food. Fair prices (the boneless wings should be named boneless CHUNKS. They are not small ! ) Great amount of food for the price... VERY clean interior and OUTSTANDING staff.. I drove 48 miles (one way)and will return . It was worth it...
Was visiting town stopped by to get dinner for the first time. Got large grill chicken salad... was unbelievably good 👌Highly recommend...
