Great addition to Maggie Valley. While it doesn't "feel" very Maggie, it adds a younger, more eclectic venue for some great food. They've decorated with lots of interesting artwork, a few retro table toppers and an arcade game, giving the place a very fun feel. There is a plethora of options and you're bound to find a sandwich you're interested in. They have everything from lobster rolls to chicken parm. I had the mushroom swiss burger and my friend got the french dip. My burger came out medium well with lots of toppings and some excellent fries. There is a hot sauce station set up by the drink fountain with at least a dozen options if you're into some spice. The french dip is huge and looked great, friend said it was excellent. What really made the place for us was the owner - we came during a slow hour so he probably had a little more time than usual but it was clear that he checked on each table and even hung out to chat with us for a while about the restaurant and travels etc. Very nice guy that's passionate about his business. I'll be back on my next trip to Maggie for sure.

This place is so much more than a sandwich shop, y'all. This place is lightning in a bottle. My family and myself went in on their first day open, and I was so impressed that I took a STACK of menus to hand out to people, and went back in today with a group of friends. I have yet to find something that isn't amazing. The hand sliced ribeye steak Philly is the juiciest Philly I have ever had. Yes, hand sliced. The PoBoy is amazing. Thank potato salad is herb and potato heaven.. No, it isn't your granny's tater salad, this stuff is in a league of its own. The fries are wonderful. The bread is FRESH. The burgers are GRASS FED BEEF. And the cheesecake sandwiches.. Omg. This place is amazing. It is top quality food with killer ambiance and service. However many stars it takes to let you know thag this place is great, that's how many I give it. I have found my restaurant niche in the Valley.

Stopped in for a quick bite to hold us over until dinner. Felt adventurous so we ordered a fried bologna sandwich and it was really tasty! They have a wide variety of sandwiches on their menu. Staff was friendly. Will definitely come back anytime we're in the area.

Great food & Service is above & beyond! Atmospere, quality, cleanliness - everything is top notch. Can't wait to go back next time I'm in the area! I had the grilled cheese... yum! Hubby had the BLT & fries (I stole a few of his fries and they were so good!) We both loved our sandwiches - made just right. The hot cocoa is a must - very creamy & just right!

Ate lunch here during a weekend visit to the area. Sandwiches were great and probably the best fries I've ever had. If you're in the area and want a great lunch or a casual dinner check it out! The people working were super friendly. My boyfriend got the cuban & said it was probably the best he's had and I tried it & have to agree! I had an Italian sandwich that I can't remember the name of but it was awesome as well. Nice lil retro theme and just a cool lil place.

Great little sandwich shop, hot and cold sandwiches and subs. Solid amount of meat, friendly staff, fast service but freshly prepared food. Prices were more than fair, one of the few places we've been able to get a "Jersey Sub" that wasn't Jersey!

My friend and I stopped at iconic sandwiches after a day of skiing at cataloochee. We are both glad we did. The food was on point, yummy, and a 6 inch sub, drink and a side each was a solid to large portion. We left full and very impressed. I had the Italian inspired by Portland Maine and she had a veggie sub. We each had potato salad, I had the one with bacon in it she had a veggie based one, really good. The staff was super friendly and chatted with the owner for a bit. He was friendly and was genuine. As we live in Asheville we rarely stop in Maggie to eat, but we will certainly be back next time.

The restaurant has a varied menu that satisfies tastebuds from anywhere across the US. They have Reubens, Cubans, Chicken Parm, Burgers, Phillies and even some specialty sandwiches like Elvis's peanut butter and banana. The restaurant is very clean and cozy and they play music that's hip to the area to make their guests feel right at home. Sandwiches came out in a timely manner and everyone I've interacted with is extremely helpful and friendly. I certainly hope they will open up more of these so I can start to see them while I'm not of vacation as well!

HUGE sandwiches!! I would recommend their sandwiches for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. I had the Reuben sandwich with potato salad and it was delicious. Ask David at the counter about the time he fell out of the wheelbarrow!
