Best place in town great coffee great service. =)
Stop here whenever we're in town to climb. Usually I'm a straight up americano person but it's really fun to see the route names as drinks. Makes me smile and coffee is always great. We grabbed breakfast there once and it was delicious. People complaining about slow service don't know how small coffee shops work, they're not just throwing things in the microwave, espresso shots have to be pulled within a time window if it's over or under extracted you have to re-pull the shot. If one person is working it's going to take a minute for a couple drinks and food. We've never had a bad experience here. It's fun, cute, and delicious.
This place served me the best double espresso that I had during my two weeks in Oregon. I like to drink my coffee "as it is": no vanilla, no funny tastes, no nothing. Maybe it's a European thing, don't know.
Anyway: this double espresso had great aromas, was excellent value for money and served by very friendly staff.
It was a little on the sour side, so maybe the coffee beans should be milled a little bit finer. Water will pass slower through the coffee powder and the beans have more time to give off their unique aromas, improving the already great taste even further.
One tip for Americans: don't put a lid on you coffee mug: you'll like your coffee a lot more. Remember that a taste develops in the mouth, but aromas are smelled in the nose, so take off that lid!
In short: go to Java Rock, order a coffee of your liking, take off the lid, enjoy the coffee, drive a circle around the place and order another one. Because their coffee is great!
Hands down my favorite coffee shop in town. I have never had a bad drink their consistency is amazing! If you need a pick me up I highly reccomend! 6 stars if possible!!!
Such a cute little shop! We were pleased to find this little place was open very early on a Sunday morning. The girl working was so nice and quickly made our coffee and bagels. She went out of her way to make us an iced americano because they were out cold brew. The prices are so reasonable and the menu is I ofessive for as small as the building is!
Decent coffee. Cold brew was good. Server wasn't wearing a mask. :/ but ok...
Love their breakfast burritos with gravy, just like I remember from home down south. Great biscuits and gravy and down home staff whipping up some fabulous coffee drinks. I recommend the "Straight from Madras".
Great espresso. It had a smooth rich flavor, with a sweet after taste. And the barista was very kind and helpful. - we are super curious though that what is the B-52 flavor??
Absolutely fantastic me and my dad ordered the same drink one hot half sweet one blended, no one ever gets our order right and they got it first try, they even asked my dad to check to see if they got it right. Amazing people. Totally come try
Absolutely the best shop in madras. Hands down. Excellent snack and road food options. Ashley is holding her own all weekend long slinging awesome drinks! Go. Now. ♥️😍😘
Lovely service. She gave us chocolate covered coffee beans. Fun menu. She said there open 7 days a week. 1st stop entering town. Shack next to the pumps.
I really appreciated how accommodating the barista was. I have an order that isnt standard and they were super sweet about it. :) The drink was made pretty quickly too, so that was nice.
