We love Sapporo! It's our go to for sushi and ramen bowls. Their staff is always friendly and the laid back atmosphere makes this one chill spot. I recommend the wasabi shu mai and hit tea if you have a cold, and a giant bowl of ramen. Love love love.
Love this place! Just moved to the area, and I'm sure I'll be on a first name basis with the staff soon. Huge menu, great prices, excellent service. Definitely recommend!!
Great service! Food was delicious and came quickly. Vegetables in my meal were fresh. My boyfriend's sushi was fresh. Fried rice was good too!
I ordered for take out. The server who checked me out was very friendly. I ordered two rolls. I didn't care for the spicy salmon (but im not a fan just trying something new). I did get the Tennessee Roll which was AMAZING. it is more expensive but worth every cent. The loaded so much avocado and the eel sauce was delectable. I found my new sushi place and I can't wait to come back next week!
Hands down best sushi and value. When I lived down the street from this place, we would go as often as two to three times a week.
Great variety of food, excellent value specials, and the best sauces and dressings of any sushi place I have gone to in Nashville.
Since moving away, I still drive the 30 minutes to this place over the handful right down the street from me. There is no contest.
Extensive menu with detailed descriptions and pictures. Fresh and good. Plenty of options for beginner sushi eaters and the experienced. Beer and liquer are served. Only negative is it could be a little cleaner. It's not noticeably dirty, but the menus and bathrooms could be cleaner. Great find in area lacking a decent sushi joint.
LOVE. We just love Danny and staff. They always greet us with a BIG hello. It is a family run business which is wonderful! The nigiri is very good and the menu offers authentic Koren specialties as well. We love the Udon and my husband love the Bulgogi and Kimchi (Korean). It is very similar to the fabulous foods we enjoyed while stationed in HI. Check them out!
Excellent sushi and service. This is an undiscovered treasure just north of Nashville. The sushi chef makes everything at the bar in clear view of everyone in the restaurant, which I love, and the rolls are both delicious and beautiful. The servers are always incredibly friendly. The miso soup is the best in town, and I've had sushi in every Nashville area restaurant. The bento boxes are creative and yummy. This wonderful restaurant is one of Nashville's best kept secrets! I highly recommend it!
Good Sushi for outskirts of Nashville. Nice alternative to the usual buger/bar menus in town.
Very friendly service. Never have to wait long for food. Very reasonably priced. And a great selection: both cooked and raw (I have to eat cooked because I'm pregnant).
Excellent Sushi. While I haven't always had the best experiences with the "cooked" part of the menu, the Sushi here is incredible. I've been to almost every sushi bar in the Nashville area and this is one of the best. They have a huge variety of choices and the sushi chef makes some great original creations. I like the sushi pizza.
