El Grito Taqueria

We had Matthew cater my son’s rehearsal dinner last weekend and I can not say enough about the whole experience. He was so easy to work with and the food was absolutely outstanding. We rented a heated shelter in Middleton and Matthew brought everything in and served all of our guests. We got such positive feedback from our guests. Guarantee it was the best rehearsal dinner any of them had been to. I don’t think that you can make a mistake with any of his food. His attention to detail with the flavors of the food was tip top. If you see his truck around town, but his tacos. If you are going to host an event have him do it. You will not be sorry.

These tacos are the real thing, and about the closest that I have come to "authentic" Mexican flavors in Madison. Today I had 1 of each, a roasted cauliflower, pork shoulder and brisket. And they were as delicious as they looked. These guys are professional, personable and will talk with you to help you figure out what you want to order. Don't forget their agua frescas, they hit the spot.

We used El Grito Taqueria for catering for our rehearsal dinner since we weren't able to fit in a restaurant with restrictions right now with our bridal party. I have never been asked so many times where the food was from and people asking how to get their food. Matthew was so great with communication and made the whole process a breeze! We didn't use the truck, but he brought everything in a catering set-up and dropped it off and gave us instructions on what to do and came back the next day to pick up all the stuff. There are so many options to choose from and they all taste fantastic! High recommend for anyone who needs a decent amount of food!

We had El Grito cater our wedding rehearsal dinner with their drop off food option. They customized our taco bar and were able to provide two flavors of their amazing ice cream as well! We knew it would be amazing as we’ve visited their food truck many many times, but the food absolutely blew our guests away. In the universe of great tacos, there’s El Grito and there’s everyone else. The saddest part of the year is winter when their food truck is not around!

I had the pleasure of having some tacos from El Grito Taqueria at a work event last weekend and I can say without hesitation that their tacos blew my mind. I had the brisket and pork, which were stellar - the briskets got a nice kick and I loved the pork and mango combo - but the cauliflower taco was life changing. I don’t even eat cauliflower and I’m still dreaming about it. The cauliflower was slightly charred and crispy, with a little hit of a sweetness and herbaceous - it was surprising in the most delicious way. Definitely worth the stop!
