Awesome blues bar that brings in some really good music. Decent beer selection, good drinks, friendly staff. Food was pretty average.

Been going here for years, food has been good the entire time. Even with the slight price increase, still worth it. One if the better little gem of a bar around. Chris is a very cool guy and does a lot for local artists, probably hosts more shows than anyone in Madison.

Came across this place looking for low-priced, live music one night and LOVED it. My wife and I had a blast dancing to blues music, enjoying popcorn and affordable beer prices, and mingling with the other folks there. Great spot with a great team making it all happen. Highly recommend.

Great food. Great staff. Great owner! Great bands! Great everything! Everyone is nice, and you are bound to see a friendly familiar face every time you go there. The burgers and curds are awesome. They cater to everyone. Get yourself down there! You will not be disappointed.

Knuckle Down Saloon is a great place to relax. The bartenders are friendly and the live music they have is top notch. This was my first time here and I was more than surprised. Great atmosphere, fun people, and stellar service. If you're in the area definitely try it out!

Wonderful staff and absolutely great environment. Selection of drinks and beers on tap are quite extensive. Food selection wasn't bad but it's not a full on restaurant. I highly recommend looking to see if they're having any concerts or special events by either calling them, checking out their Facebook page, or possibly their website. I only say this as I drove in during live show with a band from Texas.

This is the place to go for great music located on the East Side of Madison. Chris runs a great business that is fair and pays the musicians like the professionals they are. Good drinks and food and clean surroundings. Sometime I hope he can improve the seating. The music attracts a big crowd & more seating is needed. The people like to dance so the high top tables are a good choice for viewing but the chairs are not good. The seats are too small and everyone slides off. Take the backs off and re-cover and that would help. Definately recommended!

Very surprised! Went on a Thursday and the blues band killed it! I'll definitely be back for more. I've also visited for lunch and was happy with the food. No complaints! Location feels wrong.... but it's right lol
