Strong cup of coffee, for sure. Not the best brew in town, but still pretty tasty. Always have multiple blends which is nice. Staff is usually pleasant. I like to bring my own mug for a bit of a discount.

I used to hate EVP's coffee until I learned to just add a little cold water to it - they brew it SO strong. Their pastries are outstanding! They run a very chill, very nice coffee shop experience. So far their espresso had usually been very good, but I usually go for the drip coffee.

An outstanding local roaster. I have tried specialty small roaster coffee from around the US and their coffee stands among the best. They use an unusual air roaster to roast their beans which creates a really consistant and clean roast. The owner Tracy Danner is very friendly and genuine if you run into her at one of the shops. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and professional. I have never had less than an excellent experience at any of their locations.

Cozy little place with good coffee, but extremely limited hours (closed Sundays and only open until noon Mon-Sat). My wife and I walked there last Wednesday morning with one of our kids to find it closed with a note on the door citing staffing issues.

Different groupings of friends cycle through all day. Has 8 top round community tables where strangers can join a group if they choose. Love the coffee, the barristas and the super cool owner, a former coxswain for the UW female rowing team, Hence the name, Are you ready?.
