Picked this up after a long day of work and accidentally let it get luke-cold and it was still pretty freaking amazing! The extra cheese was super thick, the pepperoni distribution was perfect, and you actually get enough ranch for the whole freaking pizza. We are very pleased with our late night pizza purchase and can't wait to eat it fresh!

Pizza is solid, definitely not NY style pizza. But thank heavens it's not deep dish. They have decent food but the staff leaves a bit to be desired. Edit: Glad I gave it another shot. Freaky sticks put toppers sticks to shame. Very flavorful. Pizza is on par with Glass Nickel and Roman Candle for 60% of the price. Can't be beat!

I really want to like them. Freaky's occupies the spot formerly known as ITZZA Pizza, which was absolutely my favorite pizza place in Madison. They had the best Chicago style thin crust I had found, amazing pepperoni rolls, and many other menu items that were ok to great. AND they were open until 3 or 4 am! As someone who sometimes doesnt get off work until 2 or 3 am, I needed them, and was very sad when the closed. So I had high hopes for Freaky's. Apparently the owner is a friend of a friend, as I heard of their opening via Facebook. The location is pretty dismal but they had made a few changes to make it more enjoyable. They now have several 2 person tables, and more signage outside. There was only one person working there (ITZZA closed in part because they needed two, and they couldnt find and keep good staff). So that was the first red flag. They are open late, however only until 1am rather than 3am. The menu looks similar but is FAR simpler with far less items. Pretty much just pizza (and they dont even advertise different crust options) cheese bread called Freaky Bread) and wings. There are also a few sandwich options. Prices are much lower and with whatever specials they were running, I was able to get two large 2 topping pizzas and an order of freaky bread for around $25. That alone might make me a return customer. The person that took my order was kind and helpful and given that it was only her working there, pretty quick about making it. Second red flag was that, as my pizzas were in the oven, I didnt get any of the "this is going to be amazing!" smell. I got a waft of canned tomatoes, that was it. On the car ride home, I was getting worried, as my car smelled like Lil Caesars, which was not promising. Got home and here's the verdict: The best thing was actually the Freaky Bread. We got the version with pepperoni and bacon, which sounds odd but works really well. The bread quality could be better but isnt bad. They came with marinara sauce which, despite the canned smell, tasted homemade. The pizzas werent as bad as I was fearing but werent as good as I was hoping. Overall they just need better quality ingredients. I think the worst of it was the sausage, which tasted very greasy and processed without a lot of seasoning. For the price, and the hours, I might go back. If they werent open late, or if they were considerably more expensive, I wouldnt bother, unless they make some improvements.

We tried Freaky's for the first time tonight and it was fantastic! The wings were nice and juicy and covered with the right amount of sauce. My fiance is picky about teriyaki sauce and he loved theirs (which makes me happy since teriyaki is my favorite)! He also tried the Italian Beef Beastwich and thoroughly enjoyed it. The au jus was flavorful and the beef still had plenty of juices. He had it as it comes. The bread was toasted just enough to hold up against the juice from the meat but not overly toasted where it becomes dry. He does plan to try it with the garlic bread option next time. I tried the Rodan pizza and liked it a lot. The BBQ sauce was tasty and didn't over power the other toppings. The crust was also tasty and had a good bite to it - not too thick but, not too thin either. The only thing I would change is I wish the green peppers were cooked a little longer but, that may be just my preference - I like my peppers soft. We also tried the Freaky Stix (original) and I will say that these may be my new favorite! My fiance said they reminded him of Pokey Sticks. The seasoning they used was absolutely delicious and I'm sure these will be a staple when we order again. Overall, we found the food delicious and it was a great value (wings, sandwich, pizza and stix for under $40, including delivery/tax)! We will definitely be ordering again!

This is, hands down, our new favorite pizza place. I do have to detract a star for being 30 minutes late and forgetting our garlic sauce though. We ordered the Medusa, veggie freaky stix, and sinister stix (purely out of curiosity) and everything is delicious! What a fun menu too!

I'm a horror movie freak and in heard abut this from some like minded friends. The pizza was great, as was the sandwich I got! I loved the horror movie references and names on the menu. My only complaint is that I don't think the horror movie theming was taken far enough! It would be great to see more memorabilia, and items and alot more with the horror theme like I've seen in places like New York and Austin to make it look less like a pizza place with a few horror poster thrown up. But, most importantly the food and service was great. I will be returning soon to try the freaky Stix and wings!! Glad to have a place like this in town!

Had there two Beastwich deal delivered. Missing the chips and au jus. Got 2 diet sodas instead of regular. The italian beef sandwiches look great. The bread tastes toasted and chewy and didn't fall apart. The beef is top notch but it was so salty. Made it just about inedible. I powered thru one but gee whiz. Felt like my order was deliberately trashed.

Took a chance and it paid off. These guys will be my first choice for cheese sticks in Madison from here on out. Pizza was solid as well. Looking forward to seeing what else they have to offer.
