I've been living near this little cafe for years. I love the space and the atmosphere. Prices are about average for non-starbucks cafes in the Madison area.
I recommended their iced tea and their soups.
I'd recommend going there during the early or evening hours. Students and professionals really like to park themselves there.

Great coffee shop located just outside of downtown Madison. Their coffee is great, the interior is spectacular, and they have a drive through for convenience. A new personal favorite in Madison.

Got the Green Mango smoothie and BLT. Really good food and vibes! Definitely a slower atmosphere, but social. They do close a bit earlier though.

☕ I hemmed and hawed over all the delightful vegan options in the pastry case here at Cargo Coffee (lemon poppyseed muffins, peanut butter bar, cowgirl cookies), and in the end all I wanted was oatmeal. So delicious and didn't need the sugar because of the sweet cherries and almonds. I am reminded that Cargo, IMHO, has the BEST almond milk latte in town. Additionally, the manager (Candy) here is so accommodating, and when I asked if the Gotham bagels were vegan, she ran and got the ingredients list for me (some are, some not). Other options include a case of juices and other beverages, smoothies such as a green mango or red berry, blended drinks, sandwiches and soups that are sometimes vegan, "Green Wrap" with house-made hummus that can be made vegan, and a PBJ on local sourdough. Great service, great food and AWESOME coffee.

A great little hideaway. Has a drive through and dine in. Went there for a meeting. Is small but has many little alcoves. Not too noisy and has wifi. Has a normal coffee shop menu, not a ton of options but that's okay. It has what you need of a coffee shop. Will be back again.

Went here this morning foe the first time. Wanted to try a new coffee place, Starbucks and dunkin are boring now.
Based on the reviews I was excellent I ordered a 20oz coffee large I'm assuming and a lemon muffin. First off muffin was as dry as a biscuit.. amd coffee was awful I did put cream and sugar in it didn't ask if I wanted anything else. The girl who helped was a zombie from another planet it seemed like no personality. And the put my straw in for me sp they touched my straw in the middle of a pandemic kinda weird. So I guess what I'm saying is I'll stick with the boring Starbucks and dunkin

Pretty good coffee, and nice service. I don't care for the flavor syrups they use, but the fundamentals are solid. Bumped up to 5 stars because they usually have vegan baked goods on hand.

The best for a quick cup of coffee, or latte in Madison. Their drive through service encourages employees to be quick and efficient. It also seems as if they pay their employees well, and keep them happy. The same employees seem to be there every time I drop in month after month. If you go in more than once, they are bound to remember either your name, and or the drink that you like to order. I will keep coming back for this great service. Also the sandwiches and wraps that you can get are tasty and filling.

Fantastic coffee and environment! Their vegan treats are yummo, as is their homemade hummus! The East Wash location literally has an electrical outlet for every table, which is a LIFESAVER when you do a lot of work in coffee shops like I do.
