1st visit (before Covid) Nice place, been in business a long time. Good serving sizes. Triple berry french toast was excellent. Irish skillet was good. Lots of melted mozzarella cheese on top of corn beef hash and hash browns. Pancakes were just ok. See pics
2nd visit (after Covid, 2 years later). French toast is still awesome with generous strawberries and whipped cream for just $1.99 extra. The hot syrup is wonderful to drizzle on top! This time I had the Wisconsin Skillet (ham, onion, green pepper melted cheese, mushrooms) and two eggs done perfectly over medium. Used a coupon from local Bucky Book. Not quite a Bogo because coupon maxes out ar $6,70, but paid for the coffee at least. Service was fast and our server Colton was great.
Casual diner style restaurant that looks like it was frozen in time in the early 1990s. It was pretty busy when we visited, but they still got us seated and taken care of pretty quickly. The food was good and my whole group left fat and happy. I will certainly return.
Traditional family diner. Food tasted fresh and homemade with big portions. Staff was friendly and efficient. Reasonable prices. Will definitely return when I'm in Madison.
I remember going here as a kid like 20+ years ago. I don't remember it then, but everything was excellent today. Food was made well, tasted great, service was perfect as well. Nothing negative to say at all.
The good looking red head muscular server is great at his job. Very charismatic. The food was good too!
Lovely place. Never been here before and was pleasently surprised by the style of the restaurant and the service. The food was amazing and very filling. Would definitely come back if I'm back in town.
