Fantastic but hard to find and closes early. Look for sign on door in a recessed doorway. Missed it my first night in town but it was closed too.
Locals love it, lots of carry-out activity inside. Great draft beer selection too besides all the Japanese specialties. What to order? The place is called Morris Ramen, so you can’t go wrong ordering, what else, Morris Ramen!

The ramen here was good but I personally wasn’t a fan because they leave the fat(?) in the broth and overall it just left a weird aftertaste for me. The donburi and chicken wings were good though!

Despite the numerous glowing recommendations from friends, I did not go here the years that I was a resident. Being back in town for the holidays though, the aforementioned friends wanted to meet here for a meal.
The restaurant has a great vibe. You enter through an understated entrance and step into a beautiful, aromatic establishment. Our group of six was seated at the one table near the entrance, with the rest of the seating being at the bar or at the long bench and tables along the wall. You order at the counter and take a number for your food to be brought to you.
Their menu offers a range of buns, ramen and donburi, as well as an extensive drink menu. My wife enjoyed her sake and I was happily surprised with the mule I ordered. As for the food, the ramen was good but it turns out I’m not super into ramen. Can’t hold that against the restaurant as I would have loved some donburi. It was a really wonderful meal and the host went above and beyond to take our photo. They stood on a bench and held the phone real high.

The ramen was delicious! We almost walked by the restaurant since it isn’t marked on the outside, and I’m so glad we didn’t miss it. The space itself is small and cozy. You order with a staff member at the bar and they give you a number for a server to bring out food.
We had beef and pork buns which were great. Hoping to go back and try their kimchi next time. The Morris Ramen was a simple dish that brought a lot of depth of flavor.
Notable hygiene piece was that chopsticks and soup spoons are at the tables, unwrapped. Otherwise we had a great time. Service was very quick and staff was friendly.

Great food but hard to find. Took us a few times walking around to find this place. I got the miso ramen which was delicious and popular on the menu. I will definitely be back!

My absolute favorite place right now. I have yet to be disappointed by anything on the menu so I recommend trying it all. Perfect food and amazing staff. We have a habit of going almost every Tuesday :) highly recommend!

Amazing food, fantastic service, I can see why they only have 5-star reviews. Everyone is super friendly, and I, someone who typically only eats 1/4 of what is put in front of me, finished my entire bowl of Morris Ramen. The soft boiled eggs where the best I've ever had. I would definitely recommend the pork buns too. I honestly can find a single bad thing to say! Even when there was a wait, it turned out to be 10 minutes less than expected. ���

Fantastic pork belly ramen! Try them all, however! Btw, Japanese potato salad w/ hint of wasabi and some daichon (I think) for a little crunch is better than any potato salad I've had.

That was ABSOLUTELY delicious! Spicy ramen was just my kind of spice, cleared me up but didn't take away from any of the amazing flavor. The buns were also enjoyed by everyone at the table. Beef was definitely my favorite. Heartwarming ambience, beautiful woodwork. Way to go, Morris Ramen! And congratulations!

Noodles were cooked perfectly, the pork bun was awesome but everything was way to overpriced. Nobody wants to pay that much for ramen for what it is. Please add more flavor.

Outstanding flavors. Sit at the bar if you can. Morris was super generous sharing some of his techniques. You need to reset your ramen palette with a trip here. Make sure to request an egg in your dish if it's not included. Crazy good.
