Great diner food with nice staff and quick service. The omlette was good. The actual building and facilities weren't the nicest, but it's definitely a good place for hot breakfast. The interior is much more spacious than it appears from the outside.

I love the Route 20,which is the signature breakfast dish.
Lunch is always good here and the Club sandwich is hearty and satisfying. The French fries are crisp and not at all greasy.

Got the Italian Wedding soup and the Ruben sandwich with fresh cut fries. The food was excellent and well priced. The service was also excellent. I am from Florida visiting and like family owned restaurants over franchises and this little secret in Madison Ohio is well worth the stop.

My son and I each enjoyed our meals. I had a short stack of blueberry pancakes and an order of the ABSOLUTE BEST potato pancakes. My son had an omelette and also ordered the potato pancakes after tasting mine. The food was soooooo good.
If you like good old time hospitality this is the place to go! Our waitress was so personable and accommodating that I tipped 50% (and still didnt spend all that much).
Good care, great food and a clean atmosphere. What more can you ask?

Please offer longer hours!. We love Deans. Been there for breakfast numerous times, and even more often for lunch. Their gyros is my favorite. Since it right across from Walmart, its a great place for a quick stop to grab a quick bit when shopping. They close rather early so I can never make it there for dinner, but would be a regular customer if they ever extend their hours.
