My husband and I love the Hometown Cafe! Melissa and the other waitresses are so warm, friendly, and hard working. We normally get the early bird breakfast but today got the country skillet which is also wonderful! I’ve also tried their omelette which is very healthy and great tasting and even better to know they use eggs out-of-the-shell for their omelettes …and not the carton eggs (Ew). We highly recommend this restaurant for good quality home style food.

Good solid food, popular local place, plenty of room for parking an RV with easy access to the highway as it is right on it.
I had the hashbrowns and cornbeef skillet which comes with two eggs as you like them. The food was very good and the staff was delightful. Ambiance is lacking, but it is a road side cafe.

I'm not sure how to describe the food. The meal set up I had was a bit ... odd, I guess I would say. I had the soup instead of salad. The soup was beef vegetable but was spicy! I wasn't able to eat it. I personally didn't like it. My meal was country fried steak.
Now, I have had this fixed just about any way you can think of... it has ALWAYS come served with mashed potatoes and both smothered in gravy. Not here! It was served alone, by itself covered in a sausage breakfast gravy, with NO potatoes at all.

Food was ok, waitress was very nice, prices were mid range, food selection for dinner was small. I thought it would be a better experience from the reviews I had read. Probably will not be going back.
