I was in Macomb, IL and decided it was a good day to stop by Jackson Street Pub for lunch. I decided to order and enjoy a hamburger horseshoe with waffle fries, cheddar cheese sauce, two hamburger patties on two pieces of white bread, and I added grilled onions. Being a WIU alumni class of 2006, I hadn't had a horseshoe in a very long time, and it was just as good as I remembered! If you are looking for good affordable food in a cozy atmosphere and a good sized menu, I highly recommend Jackson Street Pub!

Foods great! Friends asked me to lunch and I thought this place looks like a hole in the wall! Until it wasn't!
Go in, taste the food, it's quite good! Prices are reasonable and plenty choices to choose from.
Go ahead and give it a chance! I did and have been back several times and not disappointed not even once!

I would give zero stars if I could. If you are an out of towner, it’s trash. Go to BWW or Chicks on the Square…..The food was sub-par, the bar and bathroom was about a 1/10. I ordered the pony shoe, and it was the worst one I’ve ever had. The fries were cold, the cheese was cold, the chicken was the kind you buy and warm up (not chicken breast deep fried- just a frozen chicken), the plates and utensils were also trash. I kept seeing people go into the bar and couldn’t believe it, because it is just that bad.

First time at Jackson's and I gotta say that I'm really impressed! My grilled chicken sandwich was really, really tasty and juicy, and the you can never go wrong with the cheese curds! Friendly staff and great, quick service! I'd definitely visit again "and order the same food too 😊"

Had the best burgers ever! Food fast and hot and had amazing flavor. Great wait staff, courteous and welcoming! Definitely on our list to return.

Best onion rings ever , huge tenderloin, service quick and fun
Waiter said he didn't know if my wife and me could really eat a full order of the onion rings boy was he wrong even said he shouldn't have questioned us.
Can't wait to come back next year
If you like old time bars and good food you remember from them this is it .
