This is an excellent Mexican restaurant. The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is because short order Mexican food is not 5 star food. The service was superb. I brought kids and they were catered which made them be quiet. This is a great stop if you're on the road. Food was exactly on par for what I expect from a Mexican restaurant.

We stopped at this restaurant while traveling back to Illinois. It's very convenient and right off of the interstate. We were expecting to order Mexican but their Sunday special was Fried Chicken, homemade mashed potatoes and gravy/greenbeans and a homemade roll.

Being from California, we were hoping to find something great, and we definitely enjoyed what we ate! Although there was a bit of water dripping from the ceiling, we still left with a wonderful feeling! Our bellies full, your place was cool! Authentic Mexican dishes, we got our wishes!

Really glad to have found this place. We’ve been on the road for days from California and grew tired of fast food chains quickly. We got the Monterrey special (huge portion) and taco salad to go. The food came out fast and was very tasty. Super easy off/on the highway. Recommend!
