Great, quick service, delicious food, friendly owners, good size selection of fresh food and Romanian products!
Menu accommodating to both Romanians and Americans.
We had pork schnitzel with fries, and ciorba de fasole cu ciolan afumat (bean soup with ham hock), sarmale (traditional stuffed cabbage rolls) as well as desert.
All delicious and looking to going back soon!
It’s so hard to find anything Romanian in the country so to find one nearby was amazing!

We were in the area and remembered a friend of mine recommended Ryan's BBQ as the only place in northern NJ for Romanian kebabs, "mititei". The tripe soup and the "mititei" were good. The smoked pork soup was just decent. Owners are nice, although it bothered me when one of them used a Romanian pejorative word to describe a Jewish person; I am not Jewish, but I believe no one should use pejorative words about anybody. The place is small, with just a few tables, yet clean and cozy. Not sure if I would patronize the place again.
