Awesome BBQ...either chicken...pulled pork....or sausage sandwich....I am partial to the sausage...the very best I have ever had.....wish they had plate lunches and not just sandwiches....

Food is great and service is amazing. The beef brisket is top of the line and my favorite sandwich. Mac and cheese is great also.

Todd Whaley and his awesome staff are one of a kind. If you are ever in North East Hillsbourgh county, this is the man for BBQ. We have used Whaleys for all of are big invents for the past 4 yrs. Todd is very reasonably priced and he knows his quantity of food to the "T".

Totally unexpected. But so delicious. My husband and I got the 5 sandwich special and split them with beans and chips at home. They looked small but 2 were plenty for me and 3 for him - great lunch. Definitely will be returning customer!

Falling off the bone!. #1 if it's not falling off the bone, it's not done! These ribs were so well done it was a bit of a challenge to pick up the rib with any meat still attached but that's a good thing.
Could definitely taste the smoke, especially in the pulled pork, but not too strong. Sauce is not too spicy, a bit on the sweet side but still OK, although I'd like a little more heat with the sweet. Pulled pork sandwich needed a hit of sauce as it was a bit dry for my taste. I wanted to try the brisket too but they didn't have any today.
Also had potato salad - not to vinegary, not to mayoey, but not much by way of seasoning and too sweet - and beans - flavorful but had something sort of rubbery in it like cooked barley maybe and something else that was grainy and I could not identify.
This is a stand with no seating. A couple of picnic tables would be nice but maybe it's not allowed in that location. Not a problem for me as I just schlepped everything home and divvied it up - some now, some for later!
Mediocre sides won't stop me from going back, since I'm really interested in the meat. Next time will just get the meat and maybe spike the sauce with a little heat!

I've eaten BBQ all over the South and Kansas City. The chicken was tender and that's hard to do. The rib meat fell off the bone and very tasty although I prefer my ribs a little dry and the sausage was great. Sides were very good and the BBQ sauce had the right mix of heat and sweetness. Overall 5 stars straight up.
Stopped on a whim, been wanting to try their BBQ for a while now. I have to say the wife and I was pleasantly surprised. Charlie and Dee were very friendly and helpful in our choices. In fact we had a small dinner party the next day and ordered our meal from them, our group loved it. One of my fav's is their smoked salmon. But don't be surprised if they sell out of your favorite, people gobble there meat quickly.
The pulled pork, and the pulled chicken sandwiches were so good! It's my first time here, after reading about them on the Next Door app. They didn't disappoint me. It was soooooo good! 🤤
FANTASTIC! I almost don't want to tell anybody else about this place because I want the brisket sandwiches all to myself. This place is so good that I nearly went back and bought more just in case I had a midnight craving. I can't wait to go back.

I found this place on yelp while browsing for bbq restaurants today. I am so glad I stopped by today. The food tastes amazing. I enjoyed the pulled chicken sandwich, mac n cheese and baked beans. Please please enjoy a side of the baked beans you will not regret that choice as one of your sides. Both the owner and son are friendly and gave top customer service. I will be back to try the beef brisket sooner than later!
