Fresco Pizza

I had a lasagna that came with a side salad and bread sticks. The bread sticks were hard and plain, I'm not too sure if this was a bad day or what. The meat lasagna was fantastic and so was the salad. They are pretty busy on Friday evenings. A call in order took about 20 minutes. Would definitely return here.

Been coming here since moving to this area about 3 years ago. They make a great pizza and it’s definitely one of the better places I’ve eaten at in the Tampa Bay area. They seem to do pretty well for themselves as there is often a line/wait in the evenings. Keep in mind that they are closed on Mondays like most pizza places. I took off a star because although their pizza is good (I often order either plain or their pizza fresca in the personal sizes), a couple of other things that we sometimes order like the chicken parm sub and the meatball sub have been inconsistent. Most of the time it’s fine but there have been a couple times where the chicken or meatballs have been a little off. It seems to be hit or miss and not sure why. They’re still worth a visit if you’re looking for a good pizza from somewhere other than your typical chain restaurants.

I ordered two large sausage and black olive pizzas for takeout. The first one I saw the employee take about a 4in wide / out of the middle of the pie I think that was for his lunch. The second piece of that came out didn't fit in the box so they merely folded over the edges and close the lid on the box. When I got the two pieces home the first one had almost no sausage on it and was very salty. The second one was the same but it was smooshed into the box we ended up throwing that one in the trash. Neither one of the pieces we could eat. I've been going to this Pizzeria probably 10 times always been excellent this one time it was absolutely horrible. Guess it's the new help they have.

We ordered the Pizza Italiana pie....OMG! AMAZING! We subbed out the fresh tomatoes for mushrooms....Delicioso!!!! A MUST try!! The Antipasto Mania salad was pretty good as well. A little pricey for what we got. We also ordered the Chicken Parm hot sub. Came to the table luke warm and the cheese was not completely melted. I wasn't crazy about their marinara. I'm Italian and know a good marinara sauce. Fresco's sauce needs a little TLC. I will definitely be going back for the white pizzas!! The marinara sauce is my reason for only giving 4 stars.
