Review Peppermill Restaurant - Lutherville

This was my first time. The staff were very friendly and professional. They did not miss a beat. The food was flavorful. One person in the party really enjoyed the meatloaf. Portions were normal.

We were just in the area and decided to give this restaurant a try. We were a bit apprehensive at first but we received a very warm welcome. Since we didn't have a reservation we were seated in the lounge area which was fine. The service was fast, the servers were polite and professional. The atmosphere was mid level not noisy. I would recommend having a reservation and enjoying your meal here in the dining area. We will be returning. We ordered lamb lollipops and champagne salmon and they were both awesome!

Having previously visited for dinner, happened to be in the area and stopped for lunch. Keeping it brief, I had one of the best Reuben's ever - lots of everything and grilled perfectly. My wife had the shrimp salad club - a unique and delicious option... which I was forced to repeatedly sample. Service, as before, was excellent. Oh, the wine pours are generous!

Hadn't been to The Peppermill for 5-10 years. Took a friend who had never been and she loved the Liver & Onions w/Bacon.....said it was the bestest ever 🤗 I went with the Prime Rib which was to die for ❤ Great food, service and overall atmosphere. Diane; the Hostess; was a gem and truly a pleasure to deal with. I will definitely be frequenting this place in the not too distant future 🙏😎

The portions were small and prices high. Kind of reminded me of typical “high end” hotel food. Safe and lightly seasoned seafood. Service was great. But wouldn’t go out your way to visit.

Service was good, very attentive. Ordered multiple appetizers, of which anything seafood related was horrendous. Soups were bland, watery, and disappointing. Both seafood entrees looked unappetizing and tasted even worse. Desserts were good. For a restaurant that has been in the area so long, this was shockingly bad. Normally I would give a restaurant more than one chance, but this was one and done.

Great food! Laid back. Typically has an older crowd but man the cream of crab soup is excellent! For what you get the prices are great! Very quality, rich desserts.
