First time ever here and will definitely be going back. The waitress seemed overwhelmed with the big party but she managed, not very friendly but not rude, just had a lot on her mind possibly. The food was fresh it did not smell like seafood when you walked in and so that was a very good sign at a seafood restaurant to me that means everything is very fresh. The food was hot and all of our special requests were met with no problem and no extra charge and it was awesome great environment thank you again Ralph Kacoo's

This was literally the BEST seafood I HAVE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE!! They didn't even try to act like we needed sauces to make it better, they already knew we didn't! *add cocktail or tarter sauce if you'd like, we didn't even need the lemon slice.. the catfish was the best I've ever had, even better than catching one myself and cooking it!! 25/10 I HIGHLY RECOMMEND! They do everything fresh and cooked to order! And the Alligator tacos were absolutely delicious! I'm from Florida and South Mississippi and wish we could go back here again! Looking forward to trying the one in Mobile! And the service was amazing!

Haven't been there in a while. It's a 3 hr drive from my house, but in my opinion, well worth the trip. Updated menu is great and the food was prepared fairly well and tasted great. The choices cover a wide range, from all kinds of seafood, steaks, burgers, salads, spuds, and a miriad of sides. Something for every desire, including kids. Jose was our server. He is one of the best I've had. He knew the menu very well. I ordered the half dozen oyster appetizer,which he suggested he could combine 2 ( there's many to choose from)so I could have 3 of one and 3 of another. That's unheard of. The courses were delivered quickly, and timely, not rushed. They even have live entertainment in the evening. If you enjoy Louisiana cuisine, this is an excellent experience.

We had a great meal there this past weekend. There were 5 in our group and everyone enjoyed their meal. We arrived late (@10pm) as we were spending the night in Lufkin. They were kind enough to still seat us since they closed at 10:30. Most of us had Shrimp which was lightly battered with good flavor. We all had various sides that were tasty as well. Service was very good!

I normally am not one to leave a review especially not a negative one, but I feel so strongly about this place and I hope that my review could stop another average person like myself from wasting their hard earned money. The food was nothing short of god awful. The quality that this place produces is what I’d expect if Wendy’s had opened a steak and seafood menu. I paid almost $200 for less than fast food quality, granted this is my own fault for walking through the door. If this place is what is considered “high end” then McDonalds should have 5 Michelin stars. The lobster was over cooked and very burnt. The steak tasted like it came from one of those 20 for $20 steak trailers. The fried shrimp was okay but I would much rather of ate long John silvers. We waited for 45min all the while my clear view in the kitchen all I could see was workers standing around and talking, I don’t mind waiting at all if what I get is worth the wait. Unfortunately 1 star is as low as it would let me go.
