Arrived 30 minutes after they opened and were lucky enough to get the last available table! The dining area is very small, so reservations are highly recommended. All of the staff was friendly and our waitress was attentive. Pretty sure the guy working the oven is the owner...he thanked everyone as they were leaving. Our pizza was delicious!! I'm kind of picky about pizza (being from Chicago), but theirs was fantastic. Crust is buttery and PERFECT...sauce has a little kick to it, which we enjoyed...toppings were plentiful. My only complaint (if it's even worth mentioning) is that they put the meats on top of the cheese. Kinda weird! Plus, it tends to make the pizza greasy. But, I would totally go back!!!

Best pizza place ever!! The owners are amazing and their love for making pizza shows. I've been going to Chuck wagon since I was a teenager. Went there tonight, an hour and half wait for pizza, the pizza is so worth the wait. I will always be a continuing customer!!

This is an awesome place to get pizza. The crust is crispy and there is just the right amount of sauce and cheese. OBTW did I mention they don’t skimp on the toppings. Very busy place. Stop and see for yourself.

Finally a pizza place that knows how to make pizza!! Don't typically like doing reviews but was so surprised (almost have given up hope) that they just deserve nothing less than EXCELLENT!

first visit but definitely not the last, loved the bread sticks and pizza ---both were well worth waiting to go to this restaurant after the season ( tourist) ends. Thank you for the great food.

We love the pizza and mozzarella breadsticks! We have been coming there for close to 25 yrs now! None better around Michigan!!! We really like Rick and the staff! Renee has always been an excellent waitress and enjoy visiting with them all! They make you feel so at home and welcome! Miss not being close by like we were for 20 yrs. Camped near Mears and visited there a lot over the years! Once quit camping we mss it so much! Thanks for the great memories there Rick and Renee!!!!!

We ordered pizza with a small salad. Freshest salad I've had in years! Then the pizza. It was LOADED. Yet the crust retained its crispness. One of the best we've had. HIGHLY recommend!

Fresh dough added with extremely generous toppings cooked perfectly and courteous staff makes for a wonderful experience. By the way if you order a large pizza you need more than 2 people to consume in one sitting , the large was a lot of food . Thank you .

We had the best pizza here. Note - we grew up on Detroit legendary pizza (Buddy’s, Shields, etc.) and are a bit picky when it comes to pizza. We ate inside, ordered the 14 inch pizza and took half home. There was 7 tables. Got there around 4 PM and waited 35 minutes for the food, as promised by the staff when making our order. The staff informed everyone about the wait time. You can watch their pizza making process while you wait, very interesting. It’s a medium crust. Highly recommend.

As soon as we got off our ferry we bee lined to Chuckwagon for breakfast and I guess the rest of the passengers had the same thought. The line was long and seating for a family of five in the smaller diner was harder to come by. We decided to take our food to go and eat by the water at the picnic tables that had a great view of Biddle Point. Our waitress who took our order was fast, sweet, and helpful. The diner was packed and extremely busy. That is usually a good sign. The flapjacks have a super cool peace sign stamped on them. The flapjacks and cinnamon french toast weren't as flavorful as we hoped therefore butter and syrup definitely helped. The beef corn hash looked as if it was made from scratch and it was pretty decent for what it was. Overall, if you're looking for a good hearty American breakfast before you bike or hike all over the island Chuckwagon is as good as any.

Great pizza with TONS of toppings, swear my 16in pizza was almost 10lbs! Pretty thin crust, and not a ton of sauce, but good pizza none-the-less. Pizza was done in about 20min and staff was friendly when I got it. They do offer dine in (now) and delivery as well.
