Oh this is a wonderful place, it's definitely old school. Seat yourself she said, anywhere you'd like. The food here was great !! Food came out hot, plus the pancakes, were fluffy and delicious. The waitress was amazing, she was so accommodating and sweet, you can tell she really enjoys her job. Nice to see for a change. They were cleaning tables as fast as they could, so the place was well kept. Looking forward to returning.

The best thing I loved about this place was the price. Early bird special is worth the price! I did have to return my eggs because they were undercooked. But the next ones were cooked properly. The coffee is good, and the service was OK. But for a little breakfast café the price is fantastic.
Waitress was great. We ate dinner there on Saturday at about 8:00 and only one other table occupied. Food was good but not outstanding. Nachos had a good amount of pulled pork but very little cheese.

The food is always good here. I just love the size of their chicken fried steaks. An their always easy to work with on substitutes. When their full be patient with them.
This local favorite never disappoints. Especially some weary travelers from North Carolina. Dependable and good old fashion comfort food. We knew we were back in Texas!
