Super cute country style restaurant with a great view. The best part is the food. Best food I have ever tasted. Presentation, smell and taste are fantastic. Highly recommend this place

The promise of farm grown organic ingredients on the grounds of this amazing restaurant don't really tell the whole story of inventive use, perfectly match fixed menu and friendly service. Greated by the owner and seated in the simple hillside location overlooking Point of Rocks and the Potomac River you are presented gifts of brilliant food at every course. A must experience place for foodies.

Best food I've ever had! Chef Tarver really nailed it. His flavors, textures, and aromas were unparalleled. The entire dining experience was such an amazing experience. Chef Tarver personally welcomed us to the restaurant and provided such warm hospitality, explaining the fresh ingridents grown and used on the property. Each dish was thoroughly explained by Chef and Eli as they came to the table. I highly recommend enjoying the experience for yourself!

Absolutely superb night. Menu imaginative within the context of season availability and respect for ingredients. Salubrious service among most professional and discreet I have ever experienced. Each course had a story; craft, ingredients, local people, and setting (in greenhouse overlooking Point of Rocks Bridge). Comfortable and Quite enough to talk and celebrate a special occasion (e.g. anniversary)... or just dine on some fantastic food. These are wise happy people led by wise and happy people. Go!

Best dining experience of my life. My wife ate everything though she swore to never eat lamb and mushrooms. The quality of the this kitchen staff is next to god and will convince even the pickiest eaters.

Another amazing meal at Patowmack Farm. I brought my family out for brunch since we couldn't spend Thanksgiving together. This isn't a place I would normally bring young children, but the staff was patient and the meal was a hit with everyone. The food is always excellent. I really can't say enough good things. I will be returning soon!

Amazing experience, starting with the beautiful drive through horse country, the spectacular view over the Potomac, and that was before the dinner started. We found the cocktails a bit too sweet, but the food was perfection. The soup (I believe it was chestnut with bacon) was like nothing I've had before. I had fish with a pumpkin butter, simply divine. This was our second meal at the farm, and I'm looking forward to our next return!

I could see why some folks would not be in favor but if you enjoy a unique experience then I'd highly recommend it. The food is terrific. The flavor profiles are unique and most importantly, delicious. It's clear they're going for the local food to table vibe and would prefer they didn't do so on the wine. I understand Virginia wine is up and coming but compared to Napa, France, or other regions with strongholds on particular wines - there is a reason why. Overall, there's not much to dislike. My wife and I were all in for $450 at the end of the night, perfectly satisfied. I'd definitely recommend it against similarly priced restaurants.

Went here for a wedding about a year ago. Absolutely amazing food. Service was top notch. I work in the bar industry, and can I say I have rarely had service as good as you guys especially for a party of at least 50 or more. There was this lady who I think told me she lived at the house on the hill and owns the place who talked to me, she was so nice and actually helped run the party. Can't wait to go to dinner there. It's pricey but totally worth it. Thank you to the owner who put up with a wild bunch during my friends wedding.

My daughter treated me to a birthday dinner with my husband/her dad. From the moment we were greeted at the door to the moment we said goodbye I felt like we were transported to a magical place. The waitstaff was wonderful and the food divine. This is truly a place like no other. If you're looking to go someplace for a special day or just to treat yourself to something nice this is the place to be. You will not be unhappy with your choice. It was amazing!

Our dining experience last night was nothing short of spectacular. We enjoyed the beautiful presentation, creativity and delicious flavors of every course of the farm's Progression menu, some of which made their debut during our visit. Not to be outdone, all the cocktails and mocktails we tried were elegant and equally delicious. Our waiter John was very attentive and had us excited for each course. We can't wait to return.

What an incredible dining experience! Don’t just expect a meal when you eat here - it is a culinary journey. I was delighted, entertained, and just had a whole lot of fun. Onto the food - delicious. Unlike anything I’ve ever had in the best way. You have to trust that chef Colby and pastry chef Mykel will not lead you astray - they won’t! Even foods that I normally wouldn’t order were incredible. The dishes were creative and each had a distinct flavor and interesting story behind it. And we had an absolute blast with our server, John! You are there for about three hours so you will interact with the staff a lot, and John was knowledgeable, helpful, and funny. 10/10 will return, thank you for a great night!

Patowmack Farm for the win! We celebrated our anniversary last night at Patowmack Farm! Literally everything was so delicious, I will dream about it for a while! The service was amazing! John and the team took great care of us! The cocktails were fantastic! Chef Colby’s creations were as beautiful as they were tasty! If I could make vegetables like he does, my kids would eat them all the time!! We just loved every minute dining at this magical place! We won’t go anywhere else for our anniversary! 😊🥂

We waited too long to dine here again. That's what we said to one another. The food was delicious and creative. Service attentive. Wine pairings were ok I would have rather had a bottle to share. We dined outside with that beautiful view and watched the sun set. We definitely won't wait so long to come back!

The views of the Potomac are stunning. The food and service were great. We did the tasting menu and had a few cocktails with the menu and everything was delicious. The staff was super friendly and my boyfriend was able to see part of the garden. Super cool experience and definitely something to try!

The Restaurant at Patowmack Farm in Lovettsville, VA is a true gem. From the personalized menu to the stunning view, everything about this place is special. I can confidently say that the food and drinks are outstanding. The staff is not only welcoming but also incredibly knowledgeable, making the dining experience truly special. The restaurant has been nominated for multiple awards, including the prestigious James Beard Foundation and RAMMY awards, and it's not hard to see why. The attention to detail and quality of ingredients is unparalleled. The food is beautifully presented and absolutely mouth-watering. Each dish is a work of art that tastes even better than it looks. The tonka bean roasted carrots and the pan-roasted duck breast were standouts, but everything on the menu is delicious. In addition to the food, the cocktails are also a must-try. They are packed full of flavor and expertly crafted. The bartenders are creative and talented, and their knowledge of cocktails is impressive. I highly recommend the Blackberry Bramble and the Ginger Margarita. The space itself is amazing, with large windows that offer breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside. The drive up the hill to get to the restaurant is an adventure in itself, but once you arrive, you'll be glad you made the journey. Overall, The Restaurant at Patowmack Farm is an exceptional dining experience that is worthy of a Michelin star. If you're looking for a truly special dining experience, this is the place to go.

I had a phenomenal meal and experience at The Restaurant at Patowmack. As a solo diner, the staff took exceptional care of me and ensured that my experience met expectations. I chose to dine indoors and had a gorgeous open-door view of the valley and river where I watched the sky change from afternoon to evening. The staff was both discreetly (when I was eating) and actively attentive to my experience. My water glass was never less than half full. Each course was well-explained to me and identified the connection to the farm. The food was beautifully presented and each bite was delicious. It was true to the early-spring season. I highly recommend this restaurant and am thankful to Ivan, Eddie, Alex, Chef Vincent, and the whole staff for making me feel welcomed and certainly well-fed.

I took my sister here a few weeks ago for her Birthday and we had a great time. From start to finish the whole event and experience was classy and tasteful. During the call in which they confirmed our reservation they asked a couple of questions - any food allergies and were we celebrating anything - the former because it's a fixed menu I assume in the latter to customize the experience for their guests. When we arrived at the intimate setting we found the menus customized with a special happy birthday note, which really made my sister's night (and consequently, my night). The 9 course menu was delicious from start to finish but some of the standouts included the Farm Egg (served in a perfectly cracked/open egg) Wild Chesapeake Rockfish, Whiffletree Beef. The service was top notch and - even though we were the closest table to the bar - I think we would have had the same level of attentiveness for our adult beverage refills no matter where we sat. We did the wine pairing which was also a delight and I thought for most (but not all) really accentuated the accompanied dishes. Will definitely return again and hungry for more!
