Good food and really nice people! We wanted to try several different items so we ordered the pulled pork, chopped beef brisket, green beans, and an order of their famous G-Funk wings! Everything was tasty, but we LOVED the green beans and the G-Funk sauce. The wings themselves were just OK as they weren't very hot and somewhat dry. BUT...we ordered another 6 wings with the Grippo rub and the wings were amazing! So juicy and piping hot! I am so glad we ordered more wings because I think the 1st batch were not typical. The employees were all very personable and happy to answer any questions. We will be back!
You will not be disappointed!! Their food has stayed amazing through the years and it's a little distance for me, but it's worth the trip every time!! The G Funk wings are the best!! Just had their seasonal corn, and it was delicious!! Excuse the plate, I just dumped it ouf if the containers, I had it to go this time.
The smoke fried wings are amazing! The Turkey slider and spicy/sweet sauce also amazing. If you love southern green beans- definitely order them here! Staff is so friendly even though we came close to closing, just getting into town. Amazing place, amazing people!!
I would have given it a5 if my barbque pork sandwich was not cold, just a bit warm I only took one a bite and investigated the middle part thinking it was just the outside. I informed them it was not hot, he said he didn’t understand how it could not be hot, I suggested that just microwaving it a little would do. He took it and replaced it and still said he didn’t understand his it could be warm it hit. Honestly the serving sandwich was barely warm also but I didn’t say anything. My husbands brisket was warm somewhat but he ate it and we both agreed the meat is very well smoked. The beans were hot and delicious, the side of wings were awesome. But with the price I was kinda disappointed in our main course sandwiches.

The owner was kind enough to reach out to have us give the restaurant another try. We're glad we did. We got to try with visiting family, and everyone agreed the wings are as good as many others have said. We tried the G-Funk and Cajun Ranch, and both were delicious.
The mac and cheese were great, and the kids loved it as well. The loaded fries were very good, and the fries were perfectly crispy throughout, even the ones at the bottom underneath the cheese.
The sweet corn muffins were slightly dry, but that was the only complaint. The staff was very friendly and kept checking on us to make sure we had everything we needed.

I was looking forward to trying out the food after recommendations and reading the reviews. However, I did not get the opportunity. I placed an online order 3 hours ahead of time for a specific pickup time, but when I got there, my order wasn't ready. It apparently wasn't even close to ready.
I was told we're just a little behind, so I sat down to wait. After waiting 20 minutes and seeing only two orders, single bag orders, leave the kitchen, I asked about my order again. The staff went into the kitchen and came back saying they were still behind. It wasn't until I asked is when they acknowledged my order hadn't even been started yet. Apparently, I was not the only one.
I normally like to give people the benefit of the doubt and expect a short wait when ordering ahead but this was not the case and the lack of information of when food would be ready was too much. Also, it seems to defeat the purpose of online orders in ordering ahead as that apparently doesn't even prioritize your order, especially if you already paid.
I'm wary to want to try to order again, as I'm not sure when/if my food would actually be ready.
Yum! We have not been to MidWest Best BBQ since they moved to their new location. The new location doesn't have the same homey ambience as the old place but the food was just as good!
I decided to go with the slider sampler with a side of Mac n cheese. I liked the pulled pork most followed by the brisket. I didn't care for the chicken-- I think it was the seasoning.
All very affordable....OH...and the customer service was top notch! Everyone is very friendly!
Shout out to Ace and Zim From the Cincinnati Bengals podcast WINCINNATI for recommending Midwest BBQ!! Pork, Brisket, and Chicken Sandwiches, Mac and Cheese, Baked Beans, and Corn Muffins are awesome! And definitely their Chicken Wings are a must have also especially the G-Funk wings!!!! Everybody I have taken there also loves the food.
