Reviews Pica's

I am extremely particular about Mexican cuisine, as the places here in Denver that usually serve so called "Mexican" typically load it with far too many onions, inferior quality and tasteless cheese, few if any fresh ingredients, and then toss it in the microwave. Plus it's the same tired menu everywhere you go, gaudily painted chairs included. Not the case here! Everything is freshly prepared, uses top notch ingredients, and is actually cooked not nuked. Love the decor, furnishings, music and books. I very highly recommend this terrific and very much needed addition to the Louisville restaurant scene!

Nicely done. Looks as good as it tastes. A great variety of flavor and ingredients. Great ambience and staff. The only place I eat downtown.

Pica's has a cute, colorful, friendly atmosphere and is tucked in the corner of downtown Louisville. I've yet to have anything on the menu that I didn't like. The magaritas are great! I always bring family here to eat when they're in town. You can't go wrong with this place.

My wife and I love Mexican food! We have a favorite place that we enjoy when we go to Vegas. However, we don't make it there often! We now have a number one place to come that doesn't compare to any other Mexican restaurant that we have visited! Glad this place is only 4 hours away! We will definitely be visiting here again!!

My family loves this place and come here often. Kids like Nino burrito and Nino quesadilla. We like pastor tacos and spicy shrimp tacos, plus rellenos, posole, chips, salsa, guac, tortas, wet burritos, salads and more. Horchata is delicious, especially when mixed with ozo cold brew, and the kids love the watermelon juice in the summer.

Always great to see Johnny and Lalo at Pica's Louisville. The tacos al pastor were great, as usual. And, got to try the pork belly taco with the mango and cucumber salsa. YUM! Love that they did some work to mitigate the loudness. Way to go, guys!

Tasty, unique presentation of the smothered "wet" burrito are two of the many reasons I keep coming back. Where else can you get seasonal watermelon juice? Delightful!

Yum! Love the Pasole and Duck taco. Lunch can be a touch slow so order ahead or enjoy a horchata while you wait. Friendly service though and easy parking.

We had a chicken & a veggie quesadilla. They were both awesome. And the salsa fresco. We had chips & guacamole tonight & they were great too. Service is always fast & friendly.

Tacos are pricey but very tasty! And the margs are also tasty but cheap so it evens out!

Ambiance is relaxed and inviting. It's Denver meets Boulder if you're from Colorado. Great drinks, burritos are delicious. A la carte menu is a MUST! Prices are on the higher end, but worth it!
